Abstract-Next generation communication system, such as Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A), has the advantages of high transmission rate, wide bandwidth and better bandwidth utilization in high mobility environments. However, in such a kind of system when users are distributed sparsely in the base station coverage range the spectrum efficiency becomes worse. The emergence of new technologies such as the coordination among based stations makes the utilization of system bandwidth more efficient. The technology of coordination among base stations has other merits such as reducing noise interference, increasing receiving diversity, improving the system receiving gain, etc. In this paper, the system spectrum utilization and its associated efficiency will be investigated when the scheme of coordination among base stations is implemented.
This paper presents the field trial measurement data of WiMAX base station; it includes the system coverage, signal strength and available transmission rate. Data consisting of real time images, VoIP internet telephone are transmitted through Skype software by using WiMAX, HSDPA (3.5G) and EDGE (2G) transmission techniques, and these data are connected to centrally equipped wireless monitoring servers to perform data monitoring and analysis. Finally, we make comparisons, analysis and discussions of these three transmission techniques from the measured and characterized data.
This paper describes a fail situation in the mass product testing of the embedded NAND-type mask ROM of a SOC "of passing in the high speed test, but fails in the low speed test", and propose a fault model of the situation. We also propose a general solution of testing to cope with this fault model. Finally, we invent a DFT architecture to cover the fault model to reduce the testing time.
In this paper, we issue a hybrid system, which is integrated with the fuzzy system and Petri net models. We exploit the characteristics, imprecise or ambiguous information, of fuzzy theory to map the algorithm of crisp inputs and outputs, furthermore, model problems, product a nonlinear function, and final predict the next state transition of Petri net graphs. In order to quickly and precisely predict the result state, we use the Center of Area (COA) defuzzification method to infer the state transition for this hybrid system. Finally, we issue an example of washed-machine to illustrate this proposed hybrid system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
