The effects of different types and amounts of high viscosity modifiers on bitumen properties are investigated by conventional bitumen property tests and DSR and BBR rheological property tests. And the optimal content of modifier and the viscosity control mechanism of different kinds of modifiers are determined. On this basis, WTR compound highviscosity modified bitumen (RPRA for short) was prepared. The results showed that the rheological properties of RPRA high-viscosity bitumen were optimal when the compound modified bitumen was prepared with 20% waste rubber powder, 5% recycled plastic and 3% polyethylene wax.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
