A metal-free method for the Minisci-type arylation of heterocycles with aryl acyl peroxides has been reported. This strategy enables the rapid and simple synthesis of a series of Minisci-type adducts...
A method of the oxidative cracking of olefins’ C=C bonds promoted by NaN3 in water without photocatalyst was developed. Some typical cheap olefins could be converted to aldehydes or ketones in moderate to good yields at room temperature under blue light irradiation. The experimental results showed that NaN3−O2 charge‐transfer complexes might be formed during the reaction, and then oxidized and cracked, finally formed aldehydes or ketones.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
