Public libraries are core organization of knowledge information and culture creation in the knowledge-based society in 21 st century. The purpose of this study is to propose a development plan for public library as a user-friendly cultural space that provides service and utilization of efficient knowledge information resources. To achieve this goal, the study carried out a survey targeting 525 users of 21 public libraries members of Jeollanamdo education office. The results identified the perception gap in respect of operation satisfaction, creation of social capital, and area development contribution. This research also proposed an alternative approaches to overcome difficulties.
As the indigenous history of the city gets recorded and today's history is lively reflected as it draws breath, the city will have its own symbolic images. This study is to show the new city archives of building direction by the status survey and analysis of the city archives based on theoretical study in respect of the comprehension of the characteristics of the city and the need to archive. To this end, the city of Seoul, Busan, and Wonju, was surveyed and were given the suggestion it should efficiently build its city archive based on the results of its analysis.
This study is to seek a development plan in the borrowed book and current condition of operation of J-do provincial library. Based on library use card issuer 30,072 people and the number of lending books 705,447(2012 to 2013) of J-do provincial library, it was to analyzed elemental and comparative research for library development plan and user satisfaction. Method of analysis used SPSS statistics 21. This confirmed provincial library user's library user behavior and usage pattern of data. Based on the results of analytics, it indicated a development plan of J-do provincial library.
