Objective: To survey social satisfaction to current doctor-patient relationship and to explore the influencing factors and improvement strategy. Methods: Survey 1167 people on internet by selfregulating questionnaire within the specified time and then make a statistical analysis. Results: The public's satisfaction to doctor-patient relationship is just at the level of 51.11%. And the satisfaction to Pharmaceutical systems is 56.23%, to related governmental duties is 51.92%, to media coverage is 59.72%, to medical personnel is 65.68%, to patient is 65.74%. There are statistical differences between different ages, residences, educational backgrounds, occupation and medical payments (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The public's satisfaction to current doctor-patient relationship is lower. It's a system engineering to improve the doctor-patient relationship. It needs the medical personnel, patient, government and medium to participate in together and pay more effort to improve doctor-patient relationship.
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that features localized or widespread erythema, papules, and scaling. It is common worldwide and may be distributed throughout the whole body. The pathogenesis of psoriasis is quite complex and the result of the interplay of genetic, environmental and immune factors. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent programmed death that is different from cell senescence, apoptosis, pyroptosis and other forms of cell death. Ferroptosis involves three core metabolites, iron, lipids, and reactive oxygen species (ROS), and it is primarily driven by lipid peroxidation. Ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1) is an effective inhibitor of lipid peroxidation that inhibited the changes related to ferroptosis in erastin-treated keratinocytes and blocked inflammatory responses. Therefore, it has a certain effect on the treatment of psoriatic lesions. Although ferroptosis is closely associated with a variety of human diseases, such as inflammatory diseases, no review has focused on ferroptosis in psoriasis. This mini review primarily focused on the pathogenesis of psoriasis, the mechanisms of ferroptosis, the connection between ferroptosis and psoriasis and ferroptosis inhibitors in psoriasis treatment. We discussed recent research advances and perspectives on the relationship between ferroptosis and psoriasis.
Ferroptosis is a new iron-dependent cell death mode, which is different from the other types of programmed cell death, such as apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy. Ferroptosis is characterized by a process in which fatal lipids from lipid peroxidation accumulate in cells and eventually lead to cell death. Alcohol-related liver disease (ALD) is a type of liver injury caused by excessive alcohol intake. Alcohol-related liver disease is a broad-spectrum disease category, which includes fatty liver, steatohepatitis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular tumors. Recent studies have found that ferroptosis is involved in the pathological development of non-viral liver diseases. Therefore, ferroptosis may be an ideal target for the treatment of non-viral liver diseases. In this review article, we will elaborate the molecular mechanism and regulatory mechanism of ferroptosis, explore the key role of ferroptosis in the Alcohol-related liver disease process, and summarize the existing targeted ferroptosis drugs and their feasibility for the treatment of Alcohol-related liver disease.
Goals: In this study, we conducted this network meta-analysis (based on the ANOVA model) to evaluate the predictive efficacy of each early predictor. Background: Persistent organ failure (POF) is one of the determining factors in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP); however, the diagnosis of POF has a long-time lag (>48 h). It is of great clinical significance for the early noninvasive prediction of POF. Study: We conducted a comprehensive and systematic search in PubMed, Cochrane library, Embase, and Web of Science to identify relevant clinical trials, case-control studies, or cohort studies, extracted the early indicators of POF in studies, and summarized the predictive efficacy of each indicator through network meta-analysis. The diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) was used to rank the prediction efficiency of each indicator. Results: We identified 23 studies in this network meta-analysis, including 10,393 patients with AP, of which 2014 patients had POF. A total of 10 early prediction indicators were extracted. The mean and 95% CI lower limit of each predictive indicator were greater than 1.0. Albumin had the largest diagnostic odds ratio, followed by high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), Ranson Score, beside index for severity in acute pancreatitis Score, acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II, C-reactive protein (CRP), Interleukin 6 (IL-6), Interleukin 8 (IL-8), Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS) and blood urea nitrogen. Conclusions: Albumin, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, Ranson Score, and beside index for severity in acute pancreatitis Score are effective in the early prediction of POF in patients with AP, which can provide evidence for developing effective prediction systems. However, due to the limitations of the extraction method of predictive indicators in this study, some effective indicators may not be included in this meta-analysis.
