In search of materials that could retard the migration of Tc and I, studies on the sorption and desorption of Tc and I on stibnite, molybdenite, rare-earth-hematite, chalcopyrite, galena and pyrite have been performed. The results show that Tc is strongly sorbed by stibnite, the sorption ratio is about 2 X 10® ml -g" 1 , and the sorption is irreversible. The sorption ratios for I on chalcopyrite and galena are about 100 ml · g" 1 , and sorption is also irreversible.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
