The measured context-sensitive half-times were in close agreement with the context-sensitive half-times previously modelled for these drugs. The results of this study confirm the value of the context-sensitive half-time in describing drug offset compared to the terminal elimination half-life.
This paper argues that the common denominator of topic-comment (TC) constructions in natural languages is not a single functional feature (e.g. aboutness) but rather the fact that they share some salient semantic attributes with prototypical examples of TC. The paper tries to disentangle these prototypical semantic attributes of TC and then shows, mainly referring to examples from German, that different TC constructions are characterized by different combinations of these attributes and therefore cannot be analyzed properly by unitary theories of TC function.
Stent design is a primary driver determining the longitudinal compression behaviour of coronary stent platforms. The results of this study comparing the longitudinal compression performance of four different commercial stent design families indicate that the tendency of a deployed stent to undergo longitudinal compression is associated with the stent design concept. It was determined that the particular 2-link offset peak-to-peak design evaluated in this study had the lowest compression resistance compared to the other stent design families.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
