El deporte de competición constituye, probablemente, la manifestación deportiva más importante en niños en edad escolar. El objetivo de este estudio es el analizar la apreciación de los profesores sobre la competición deportiva como medio de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la educación primaria. Para alcanzar este objetivo se utiliza un cuestionario. La muestra está compuesta por 140 profesores. De los resultados se deduce que la competición es un buen instrumento para la formación y educación de los niños. Palabra clave: deporte escolar, competición deportiva, educación.Abstract: Competitive sport probably constitutes, the most important sport manifestation among children at school age. The aim of this study is to analyze the teachers? perception about the competitive sports as a mean for teaching and learning in Primary Education.To reach this aim, a questionnaire has been use. The sample consists of 140 teachers. From the results it has been concluded that competition is a good instrument for the training and education of children. Key words: School sport, competitive sports, education.

The objective was to determine whether gait is symmetric in healthy children 6-7 years of age and to assess the effects of laterality and the anatomical zone of the foot. 46 children were subjected to gait symmetry analysis in which the plantar and lateral pressures associated with kicking a ball, static balance, and dynamic support were measured. There were no significant differences in the average pressure exerted by the right and left feet based on the laterality of the child. Independent of each laterality test, a greater pressure on the right rearfoot was observed compared to the left rearfoot and on the left midfoot and forefoot compared to the right.

No hay que confundir la dignidad con las condiciones indignas en que puede encontrarse una persona por circunstancias exteriores o por la enfermedad. La persona paciente en situación terminal tiene dignidad humana, que exige ser respetada, no por ser paciente terminal, sino simplemente por ser persona. Pero es cierto que en situaciones terminales puede verse particularmente amenazada la dignidad. Sin embargo, no se debe deducir del criterio de respetar la dignidad la conclusión de prolongar la vida biológica a toda costa, sino la de garantizar la mejor calidad del vivir durante el proceso de morir y de acompañar dignamente a la persona que se aproxima a la muerte ayudándole a asumirla.
