Nowadays, innovation and improvement in the industrial and logistic sector are significantly increasing sustainability issues and awareness. The concept of green supply chain focuses on the supply chain management that aims to reduce the environmental impacts, increasing the natural and ecological efficiency. The companies that are willing to accelerate their environmental performances will enhance competitive advantage that will bring income and market share enhancement, also a more positive corporate image. From the literature study, several green supplier criteria were identified and then be selected and categorized by interviewing the experts. From those results, ten criteria been developed in the model by using MCDM (Multi Criteria Decision Making) methods, which are DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) and ANP (Analytic Network Process). There are five respondents as experts in the environmental engineering field and industrial estate management, who know best the condition in Cikarang Industrial Estate. Five top criteria that have the highest weight number are Environmental management system (EMS), PROPER assessment from KLHK Indonesia (PROPER), Pollution prevention and control (PLC), Energy management/efficiency (EM), and Green design or R&D (GD).
<p><em>Manufacturing excellence represents the goal for every manufacturing industry all around the world. Reducing waste could help achieve manufacturing excellence since waste could happen in every manufacturing industry. PT. As one of the food and beverages industry, </em><em>PT. </em><em>MNO also focuses on reducing waste in the production process, especially in the filling department. Similar to other departments, the filling department also has planned and unplanned stoppages. As one of the planned stoppages, the setup activities represent one of the highest waste contributions in the filling department. Therefore, PT. MNO can reduce the setup time using the Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) and 5S method. Then, the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) calculation can show the differences between filling machine productivity before and after Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) and the 5S method. As a result, the setup time is reduced from 34 minutes to 13 minutes by using the Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (SMED) method implementation. After the 5S method implementation, the setup time becomes ten minutes. The overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) calculation result shows better productivity after SMED and 5S method implementation in the filling department by the increasing OEE rate from 76% to 78% in the end.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>Keywords: Setup, waste, planned stoppages, Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), 5S, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)</em></p>
Tofu industry dominates by small-scale business with traditional production methods. On the other hand, demand for tofu products is quite high, and it is needed to increase tofu production. This study discusses the making of hygiene tofu maker tools able to simplify the production process. Based on the results of interviews with three tofu home industries in Cikarang, Bekasi, 17 request attributes of making an assistive tool obtain. Based on this, four technical responses were collected and will be developed become four concept designs. After conducting concept selection, it is determined to plan for making a tool which can simplify the process of making tofu. That is, starting from the manufacturing process, which starts from the pulp to the process of making tofu, can be put together into one manufacture of the tool. Thus, designing this tool can integrate the six stages of the tofu production process.
Budi daya jambu kristal berpotensi untuk dikembangkan karena dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan dan taraf hidup petani. Desa Mekarmukti, Kecamatan Cikarang Utara memiliki sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia yang memadai dengan total lahan seluas 3000 m2 yang dikhususkan untuk budi daya tanaman jambu kristal. Kualitas merupakan hal utama yang perlu diperhatikan oleh petani untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Strategi produksi yang diterapkan petani di Desa Mekarmukti masih sangat sederhana. Petani mengaku bahwa mereka belum memahami cara membudidayakan jambu kristal dengan tepat. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan teori yang relevan yaitu mengenai budi daya jambu kristal, peluang bisnis jambu kristal, dan perhitungan laporan laba rugi. Teknik untuk mengumpulkan data yang digunakan yakni studi literature, observasi, dan wawancara. Dari evaluasi terhadap 13 peserta mengenai penyuluhan yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa tingkat ketertarikan akan bisnis jambu kristal mencapai 100%. Menanggapi keinginan dari pihak masyarakat, diperlukan bentuk kerjasama lain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Desa Mekarmukti atas pendampingan yang berkelanjutan. Dengan adanya pemaparan tentang budi daya dan peluang bisnis jambu kristal, petani memiliki tambahan kecakapan dan pengetahuan untuk menghasilkan buah jambu kristal yang lebih berkualitas. Manfaat lainnya yaitu melalui pengetahuan mengenai perhitungan laporan laba rugi, petani dapat mengetahui keuntungan ataupun kerugian dari usahanya dengan lebih terperinci. Kegiatan ini perlu diperluas mengingat bahwa perkembangan budi daya jambu kristal di Desa Mekarmukti masih pada tahap awal, sehingga dukungan dari berbagai ahli sangat dibutuhkan.
This study aims to select the best suppliers based on Fuzzy-AHP and ELECTRE methods in multinational automotive companies in Indonesia. Fuzzy AHP method is used to determine the weight of criteria and sub-criteria in reducing uncertainty and unclear information. Meanwhile, the ELECTRE method is used to rank alternative suppliers. Both methods are used to reduce subjective decisions and improve the accuracy of selected suppliers. After applying Fuzzy AHP and ELECTRE methods, the supplier chosen for the steel fuel tank is S1, for side beam impact is S2, wheel disc is S2, Seat is S1, door trim is S2, lamp is S3, headlining is S3, insulator is S1 and hose is S3.Keywords: JIT, supplier performance, Fuzzy-AHP, ELECTRE
