In short time, Indonesian digital poetry attracts its audience through a series of visualization features of the digital art. This research uses a short segment analysis on Indonesian videography digital poetry to demonstrate the existence of visual conglomeration practices through the creation of objects, features, a feature of space, measuring distance in feature space, and dimension reduction. These five approaches are proposed by Manovich (2014) in grouping millions of visual artworks based on simple criteria. Of the three common objects are found, Indonesian animators, prefer individuals and texts as the main impression. The movement features are found in cinematic poetry and its rely depend on kinetic texts. Meanwhile, non-movement features can be found in the form of human imitation or part of them, portraits, silhouettes, and comics. Indonesian digital poetry of space features in form of textual space is prioritizing on the kinetics text, the space of time is prioritizing the presentation of objects association of words are spoken, the neutral space is prioritizing the use of computer technology application. The grouping of visual art composition is based on two criteria: the technique of creating and artistic impressions. The dimensional reducing is prominently practiced by Afrizal Malna.
This research aims to analyze, track and formulate the social perspective in Dompu societies that are implied and expressed in text of Nggahi Dana. Arcetype-pragmatic approach was used as the research design emphasizing on content and thematic analysis. Seven informants were assigned as the key informants. In addition, observations, interviews and documents analysis were applied to support the data. Three video-tapes obtained from the observation and interviews were transcribed verbatim prior to analysis. The study reveals that identity construction of societies in Dompu was made by culture politics through oligarchy hierarchy since several years ago, that is to obey to the leader and abroad guests, and the text of Nggahi Dana is utilized as the device to doctrine low level societies (slave) by the rulers.
This study aimed at describing the historical traces in Tere Liye's novels. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of historical traces in the novel by Tere Liye. The data of this research are in the form of discourse in four Tere Liye novels. The primary source of the data is the novel written by Tere Liye that are Rindu, Tentang Kamu, Ross dan Sunset, Anak Cahaya. The secondary sources of the data are theses, articles, and the internet. The data were collected through literature, attentive and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using structural genetic analysis of literature through a historical extrinsic point of view. The results of the research are historical traces found in four Tere Liye novels, Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) history in the novel Tentang Kamu and The Children of Light. In these two novels, the history of the Indonesian Communist Party {PKI} is proven by the historical fact that the PKI betrayal did occur in Indonesia in 1948 and 1965. Likewise, in the novel Rose dan Sunset, there are historical traces about the Bali bombings. Historical facts prove that there was a big explosion in 2002 in the Kuta area of Bali. The pilgrimage journey in the Dutch colonial era, contained in the novel Rindu. The takeover of the pilgrimage from kiyai by the Dutch by providing a steamboat that occurred in the 1900s became a historical fact that supported it. The results of this analysis can be developed as teaching materials, especially for historical story text material in high school.
This research study aims to describe the reflection on the history of the PKI in Tere Lie's Novel About You. The focus of his description is human facts in novels that reflect the history of the PKI. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using genetic structuralism theory. The research data were collected using the document review method. Data were analyzed using structural genetic methods. Based on the results and discussion, it is known that the human facts in Tere Liye's novel About You reflect the dominant PKI history in the form of social facts, namely in the form of social, economic, and political relations. In this case, some are verbal and some are nonverbal. It can be concluded that: (1) Social facts in the form of social relations are reflected in the story of the kidnapping and massacre of kyai, kiyai families, and pesantrean pesantrean santri by Musoh and Latri because of their dissatisfaction with Ma'sum's financial policy, even though previously they were religious people of Kyai Ma ' sum; (2) Social facts in the form of economic relations reflected in the story of the economic arrangement of the Islamic boarding schools which were used as tools to incite others to hate the leaders of the Islamic boarding schools and to carry out rebellions; and (3) social facts in the form of political relations reflected in the story of the communist movement in Indonesia in 1948-1965, the uncontrolled struggle for influence and power between the TNI and PKI political elites, and the spread of hateful words / slogans by the PKI group.
Mantra dalam sejumlah literatur dan kajian dijelaskan sebagai ucapan atau perkataan yang memiliki fungsi, bentuk dan bisa mendatangkan kekuatan. Fungsinya bisa sebagai pengobatan, pelindung diri, pemikat, dan sebagainya. Bahasa yang digunakan berbentuk perpaduan antara bahasa daerah dengan kalimat-kalimat islami yang memberikan aspek kesakralan. Namun demikian, terdapat seuatu yang berada di dalam mantra tersebut, yaitu aspek teologi atau pemahaman tentang Tuhan. Pemahaman tentang Tuhan itulah yang sesungguhnya memberikan implikasi terhadap fungsi atau kekuatan mantra tersebut. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan aspek teologi dalam bentuk dan fungsi mantra yang terdapat di dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Sasak. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif-etnografi dengan narasumber 2 orang tokoh adat, 2 orang dukun (tukang obat) dan 2 orang pemilik mantra yang diwawancarai untuk memperoleh sejarah serta contoh mantra. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh yaitu mantra ialah ucapan yang memiliki bentuk seperti pantun, teka-teki atau puisi dan berfungsi sebagai pengobatan, pelindung diri, berburu dan sebagainya serta bisa menghadirkan kekuatan. Kekuatan yang bisa didatangkan dari mantra tersebut harus didasarkan kepada kepercayaan tentang kekuasaan Allah SWT. Kepercayaan terhadap kekuasaan Allah SWT itulah yang merujuk kepada aspek teologi masyarakat yang tersusun dalam dimensi kepercayaan terhadap Allah SWT, Rasul, takdir, alam gaib dan janji serta ancaman Allah SWT. Mantra in a number of literatures and studies are described as sayings or words that have function, form and can bring power. Its function can be as treatment, self-protection, charm, and so on. The language used is in the form of a blend of regional languages with Islamic sentences that provide a sacred aspect. However, there is something in the mantra, namely the theological aspect or understanding of God. The understanding of God that actually has implications for the function or power of the mantra. Thus, the purpose of this study is to describe the theological aspects in the form and function of mantra contained in the culture of the Sasak people. The method used is qualitative-ethnographic, with 2 traditional leaders, 2 shamans (medicines) and 2 mantra owners being interviewed to obtain the history and examples of mantra. The findings obtained are that mantra are utterances that have forms such as rhymes, riddles or poetry and function as treatment, self-protection, hunting and so on and can bring the power. The power that can be obtained from the mantra must be based on belief in the power of Allah SWT. This belief in the power of Allah SWT refers to the theological aspects of society which are structured in the dimensions of belief in Allah SWT, Rasul, Takdir, the supernatural things and the promises and threats of Allah SWT.
