Abstract. Disaster prediction devices for early warning system are used by many countries for disaster awareness. This study developed smart disaster prediction application using microcontrollers and sensors to analyze the river water level for flood using flood risk analytics. Specifically, it monitors the river water level, water pressure and rainfall using microcontroller, applying statistical modeling algorithms for river flood prediction, and monitor flood in a web-based system with SMS notification and alarm to the community as an early warning. The researchers used the system development method to measure the prototype feasibility study. The researchers applied the statistical modeling algorithm as the data can be observed from time to time or on a daily basis for the predictive analytics. Based on the 7-days observation result, rainfall resulted in precipitation average of 10.96 mm, water pressure with an average of 40.92 pound per square inch (psi) and water level averaged 138.78 cm. The tropical depression during the 7 days' observation reflected the average data result from the sensors as the target of the study. The result of the prototype device used the City Disaster Risk and Reduction management office (CDRRMO) as history logs for a flood risk and it was proven accurate which makes a good use for disaster prediction.
Abstract. e-Government for human capability development program: an Implementation of G2E System for enhanced government services is design for Local Government Unit (LGU) which will enable every government employee to have an equal chance of providing services to their clientele and management. Philippines has been one of the countries promoting e-government where people linked to government agencies through the aid of network infrastructure, web technologies and database management. The system is designed and patterned to PRIME (Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resources Management) module, releases by Philippine Civil Service Commission which assures and safeguards smooth operations and procedures are done in every local government in both cities and municipalities. The system was test both in municipality and city to determine the readiness of its design and algorithm in handling government human resources management process. The design based on ISO 9126 yield a very good response from the respondents.
JLearn is an instructional integrated development environment to support learning in Java programming, software development and project management. JLearn is based on Eclipse and JXPro platform, thus providing a software suite that integrates source editors, compilers, error analyzer, unit-testing and life-cycle management tools to afford advanced software development and project management within the IDE. The aim of this research is to provide a fully automated collection of tools for learning software development and project management to improve learning outcomes of the students, improve software quality, throughput and enhance project management skills.
