The dedication entitled “The Training of  Poetry Writing using picture to Grade Seven of  SMPN Kota Baru Kefamenanu”. This activity aimed to provide knowledge and explaination to students in SMPN Kota Baru Kefamenanu about the procedure to create a poetry using picture; improve students' creativity in writing poetry using picture; and motivate students regarding the importance of the writing, and develop literature like poetry. The targets of this dedication activity were 30 students in SMPN Kota Baru Kefamenanu. This training was  implemented through two methods, there are communicative method and action method. Communicative method was used to explain the topics like essence of poetry, and how to create poetry. Action method was used to practice writing a poetry based on observation results of the provided picture. The anthusiasm from the participants, the supports from the head masters and co-teachers, and the financial support from LPPM are helpful in accomplishing this dedication. As a result, the ability of students of grade VII in SMPN Kota Baru Kefamenanu in creating a poetry especialy using picture  is at medium category with average score 67.

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini didasarkan pada kesenjangan program Belajar dari Rumah (BdR) yang pada prinsipnya menggunakan metode pemberian materi kepada siswa dan virtual learning untuk mencegah penyebaran pandemi Covid-19. Namun, kenyataan menunjukan bahwa siswa SMP di Tublopo sangat sulit untuk belajar dengan menggunakan kedua metode tersebut. Program Rumah Belajar yang diterapkan oleh tim pengabdi merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menanggulangi kesenjangan program BdR SMP di Tublopo. Program rumah Belajar ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap para siswa terkait materi yang diberikan dalam sistem BdR selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Pengabdian Rumah Belajar ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap yakni, tahap survei, permohonanan izin, dan tahap pelaksanaan pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian menunjukan bahwa program Rumah Belajar cukup efektif untuk diterapkan di tengah pandemi ini karena hasil analisis pekerjaan siswa yang diberikan mengalami peningkatan yang siginifikan.

Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “Bentuk Bahasa Kasual Guyup Tutur di Wilayah Perumahan BTN Kefamenanu”. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bentuk bahasa kausal guyup tutur di wilayah perumahan BTN Kefamenanu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk bahasa kausal guyup tutur di wilayah perumahan BTN Kefamenanu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitatif, sedangkan teori yang digunakan adalah teori linguistik structural. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa bentuk bahasa kasual terdapat pada tataran fonologi, morfologi, dan semantik. Pada tataran fonologi, bentuk bahasa kasual berupa aferesis atau pelepasan fonem tertentu di awal kata seperti fonem dan disimilasi. Bentuk bahasa kasual pada tataran morfologi berbentuk reduplikasi berubah bunyi dan abreviasi berupa singkatan-singkatan dan kontraksi. Bentuk bahasa kasual pada tataran semantik selalu mengarah pada makna konotasi kata.
