This study aims to validate metacognitive instruments, which include eight indicators of declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge, conditional knowledge, planning, information management, monitoring, debugging, and evaluation. The validation method uses Rasch modeling (Item Response Theory), namely Map analysis Wright (Person-item Map), Measure DIFF, Validity (Fit Statistics for The Draft Questionnaire), Reliability Cronbach Alpha (Summary statistics). Results map analysis wright shows the distribution of items and the power of discrimination are categorized as good with the logit value around 1.0. The curve Measure DIFF and the probability value indicate that the thing does not have an element of distinguishing gender characteristics if the probability value is above 0.05. The assessment instrument's validation showed an infit-outfit of 0.5 MNSQ 1.5, an infit-outfit value of 0.5 ZSTD 1.5, and a value of 0.4 PTMEA 0.85. Furthermore, the reliability of the instrument category is excellent, with a Cronbach alpha of 0.94. In conclusion, the MAI instrument in chemistry learning was feasible to measure the metacognitive abilities of high school students.
(4) Rekomendasi usulan amandemen S.O.P Perencanaan, Penerimaan Bahan, Audit Gudang sehingga pencegahan pencemaran bahan kimia. Kata kunci : Bahan kimia, Pengelolaan limbah, MSDS, Incompatibility, StandardOperating Procedure (S.O.P) Abstract: Hazardous chemicals and materials practicum good rest expiry Chemistry Laboratory, University of Mataram PMIPA FKIP needs to be studied in depth, so as to find solutions on how to appropriate management. To find the right formula management studies are necessary regarding: the identification of the causes of chemical wastes, the calculation of the amount of waste, treatment and disposal mechanisms to the environment. The quantity of chemicals and waste management techniques to be an indicator of how well the governance of waste. The goal is to find a solution in the management of chemical waste, so it can be used as the basis / guidelines in an effort to minimize the potential for waste both in handling in the warehouse as well as a reduction in the quantity of waste generated from laboratory experiments PMIPA FKIP University of Mataram. Techniques used in the management of documentation may be obtained several ways, namely: (1) chemical wastes coming from the rest of the preparation of the solution, the rest of the lab, the results of the washing apparatus, and outdated materials. (2). Decrease the amount of chemicals stored in the warehouses of 18.5% of the total inventory, while the amount of material cause of the B3 waste is reduced by 29%. (3) Required waste processing techniques such chemicals before being discharged into the environment. (4) Recommendations proposed amendments S.O.P Planning, Reception Materials, Audit Vault so that the prevention of chemical contamination. Keywords
Natural antioxidants are quite popular in beauty products. In further product development, natural antioxidants are needed from local products of the NTB community. This study aims to optimize the antioxidant activity of local products Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) from Cocos nucifera L. grown in Lombok. This type of research is experimental laboratory research using the DPPH method. VCO was isolated by conventional methods, namely standing and layered filtration. Data were obtained from the results of the UV-Vis spectroscopy test. The results showed that the free radical inhibition of VCO was strong, with an IC50 value of 51.57 and an inhibition of 48% at a 5% VCO concentration. The absorbance of DPPH decreased with increasing reaction time. The decrease in absorbance from every 5 minutes indicates the antioxidant activity continues to a stationary point. A color change indicates the stationary point to yellow. The strong antioxidant activity of VCO is used as the basis for its use as an active ingredient in various cosmetic products. VCO is also believed to have a function as a natural moisturizer.
The used of plant species by the community is an inseparable unit in everyday life. The plants used by the community in Sembalun Village for medicines and traditional rituals has been attached and is a hereditary tradition. Community knowledge about the use of plants for medicines and traditional rituals has not been well documented. The purpose of this study was to determine the species of medicinal plants and traditional rituals, as well as to find out the parts of plants used by the community in Sembalun Village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative through direct observation and interviews were conducted on 33 respondents using descriptive methods and purposive sampling observation techniques. The results showed that 58 species of medicinal plants from 30 families and 5 species of plants for traditional rituals from 5 families were used by the people of Sembalun Village. These medicinal plant species are believed to cure 28 types of diseases and are used in the traditional rituals of Sembe, Ngeayu-ayu, Bebije Tawar, and the use of Soyot (Sapindus rarak) in washing traditional Bale Lokak clothes. The most widely used plant parts were leaves as many as 21 species and the least used were seeds and flowers as many as 1 plant species.
