Resumo: O objetivo da pesquisa consiste em investigar o potencial papel protetor da resiliência humana em relação ao assédio moral no universo de trabalho de docentes da Educação Superior Pública. O presente estudo quantitativo enquadra-se como descritivo e explicativo. A pesquisa foi realizada na Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE), investigando docentes de todos os campi da Universidade. A amostra foi composta por 283 sujeitos. A coleta se deu de modo online pelo Google Forms. Acerca dos testes estatísticos, procedeu-se com a Modelagem de Equações Estruturais (MEE). Como resultado, destaca-se que há uma relação significativa entre autossuficiência, sentido de vida e equanimidade com as dimensões que compõem o assédio moral: desprestígio, atentado contra dignidade, isolamento e recuso à comunicação e deteriorização proposital.Palavras-Chave: Assédio moral. Abstract: The objective of the research is to investigate the potential protective role of human resilience in relation to bullying in the working universe of teachers in Public Higher Education. This quantitative study is descriptive and explanatory. The research was carried out at the State University of Ceará (UECE), investigating professors from all the University's campuses. The sample consisted of 283 subjects. The collection took place online via Google Forms. About the statistical tests, we proceeded with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). As a result, it is highlighted that there is a significant relationship between self-sufficiency, meaning of life and equanimity with the dimensions that make up moral harassment: discredit, attack on dignity, isolation and refusal to communicate and deliberate deterioration.Keywords: Moral harassment.
