This study examined the effect of social media marketing on the success of selected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the South-West region of Nigeria. The study used a descriptive survey approach. Small and medium-sized enterprises that are official registered in South-West Nigeria SME offices made up the study population. The sample size of 376 was arrived at with the help of the Raosoft Sample Size calculator. Data was collected from the owner/managers of the selected SMEs. using questionnaire as the primary data collection method. The questionnaire was tested for reliability, and the Cronbach alpha coefficient came in at 0.889. Both descriptive and inferential statistics (SPSS 24 and Smart PLS 3.3.3) were applied to the data set for analysis. With a 95% level of confidence, the PLS-SEM results showed that customization (β= 0.252, t= 1.970) and social interaction (β= 0.472, t= 4.229) are statistically significant, while branded entertainment (β = 0.017, t= 1.1101), customer engagement (β= 0.065, t= 0.493), and electronic word of mouth (β= 0.093, t=0.548) are not. The data analysis showed a positive relationship between social media marketing and sales growth in the Southwest of Nigeria. The study found that SMEs in Southwest Nigeria saw a significant increase in sales after implementing social media marketing strategies, and it is recommended that business owners should build stronger relationships with their customers and produce more engaging content on their social media channels geared towards their brand to improve their sales performance.
The study assesses Nigeria's infrastructure development and capital budgeting execution. A substantial correlation between the dependent and explanatory factors was found using Pearson Correlation Analysis, which assessed the link between the study's dependent variable and explanatory variables. In contrast, generalised least square regression was used to assess the study's assumptions. The study determined that the explanatory variables accounted for 40% of infrastructure improvements via the deployment of capital budget implementation, resulting in a coefficiency determination of 40%. A generalised least square regression study revealed that capital budgeting adoption has a favourable and substantial impact on the housing, transportation, and technology sectors. The results conclude that allocating funds from the capital budget for infrastructure development would increase the availability of fundamental public goods for the populace. Therefore, the government should make serious efforts at all levels to establish enough budget allocations for the provision of health care in Nigeria to improve noticeably. Similar improvements would be made to the energy supply if the requisite fiscal commitments could be made. Budgetary resources should also pay special attention to the road sector and healthcare services. Additionally, it is advised and consistent with development theory that the Nigerian government minimise its reliance on outside funding for infrastructure improvements and instead create homegrown strategies to stop infrastructure deficits.

Data collected was analyzed using SPSS to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial success. Emotional intelligence was measured using five dimensions of emotional intelligence namely: self awareness, self regulation, internal motivation, empathy and skill building while entrepreneurial success was measured by both financial and non financial performance measures. The result of simple regression analysis shows that emotional intelligence has a weak and significant effect on entrepreneurial success FIIRO technology adoptees. On the sub variables and their effects on entrepreneurial success, self regulation and empathy have weak and significant relationship with entrepreneurial success while self-awareness, internal motivation and skill building have very weak relationship and no significant effect on entrepreneurial success. Based on the outcome of this study, it is recommended that entrepreneurs, management consultants and government agencies with responsibility for SMEs development should take good advantage of the findings of this study to develop strategies that will enhance entrepreneurial success most especially in this post Covid-19 era.
