Enantioselective syntheses O 0031Synthesis of Racemic and Enantiomerically Enriched α-Oxyfunctionalized Benzocyclanones and Chromanones by Dimethyldioxirane and Dimethyldioxirane/ Mn(III) Salen System. -Asymmetric oxidation of enolacetates of benzocyclanones and chromanones (III) by dimethyldioxirane in the presence of Jacobsen's catalyst systems is carried out.
