During the high and rapid digital freedom in Indonesia, there is a problem related to ethical matters that is the poor level of digital decency. This article attempts to offer an ethical perspective based on a hermeneutic study of the biblical text. The text analysed is First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 8:9 & 10:29). In 1 Corinthians 8:9 Paul speaks of the freedom of responsibility that the “strong” needs to show to the “weak.” In 1 Corinthians 10:29 the issue of suneidesis (conscience) is the core idea, namely that one needs to pay attention to the conscience of another in all the freedoms they have. The results of the existing interpretations create a theological-ethical construction in the freedom to interact digitally that can be applied multi-religiously in Indonesia.
