The research is relevant as educational computer games are included in students' mathematical activity and form additional opportunities to improve the quality of teaching mathematics in a digital school, to support the formation of the demanded professional competencecomputational thinking. To form the appropriate skills that determine the essence of special computational thinking, the authors propose to include game educational spaces based on digital gamification resources into students' mathematical activities. The research aims to resolve the contradiction between requirements of the modern economy for specialists' high level of computational thinking and an insufficiently developed methodological base for training graduates that meets these requirements. The purpose of this research is to study the features of using gamification technologies in teaching mathematics to form the skills and abilities that make up the essence of computational thinking. The article describes directions of educational and cognitive mathematical activity based on the principles of gamification. The authors clarify the concept of "computational thinking", which includes a system of actions for activating patterns, connections between them from human memory, and compile an effective algorithm for solving them: to obtain relevant information on advanced technological developments; to state the problem and model; to use a software product with mathematical content.
The external and internal environment's high turbulence in the education system and its entity's activity make the measures taken and development programs insufficiently productive, which reduces the education social impact and its economic productivity. The authors believe that the management of education development requires flexible adaptive mechanisms creation capable to preserve the system's functional in a varieties environment. The iteration allows solving this task, as a control function, consisting in regulatory mechanisms controllable connection in case of the criterion parameters deviations in functioning from established norms. The iteration possibilities in achieving the education target results at all levels are shown, which allows implementing the established mission projection of the higher education system. Iteration realization gives an understanding of the deviations nature, education risks identification, which allows timely adjustments in the development path. The paper is intended for researchers, heads of managerial educational structures.
Learning in the digital age is a pervasive idea that encompasses all aspects of a person's life, including work and leisure. As a result of the development of new teaching and learning tools, an increasing number of students are acquiring knowledge on the Internet- connected to the Internet. Therefore, all citizens must develop digital literacy as a lifelong learning skill. Studies have been conducted on students' digital skills in higher education institutions. In this context, this study aimed to investigate the skills of college students. The participants were students from a university in the Kazan region of Russia who volunteered to participate. Three hundred and eighty students completed the questionnaire online. The scale consists of a total of 25 questions and six dimensions. Since our independent variables are binary values, we applied the Bayesian t-test. We obtained the values of the Bayes factor (BF10) for each dimension and the total scale. In general, students' digital skills are well-developed. However, it was found that creating and using digital information requires fewer skills than in other areas. The hypothesis that there is no difference based on student gender was supported to a higher degree but not to a very high degree. The hypothesis that there is no difference based on students' fields of study was supported to a greater extent, but only to a moderate extent.
The article discusses selected issues of the development of the power industry in Russia. The relevance of the development is related to the development of the electric power industry, meets the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 399 "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Energy Saving and Improving Energy Efficiency..." dated 12/28/2013. The article used statistical methods, the method of averages, the index method ; analyzed trends in the production and consumption of electricity in the Russian Federation; Cause-and-effect relationships between production, consumption, and rising electricity prices have been identified; developed criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of measures to implement the program for the development of the power industry proposed the author's approach to calculating the degree of effectiveness of the measures taken to ensure the implementation of the program; justified the conclusion about the need to create an institutional system as a mechanism for the innovative development of the electric power industry.
The relevance of this article is determined by the need to study new approaches to the organization of the study of mathematics in inclusive education, explore recreational imagination, as well as self-regulation for the development of the learners' ability to explain in detail their actions, find and correct mistakes on their own and thus develop their mathematical thinking. Today the needs of society to improve the quality of modern education along with the increasing volume of information that modern students must continuously process make the problem of developing mathematical thinking even more acute. The purpose of the study is to research the relationship between recreating imagination, mental self-regulation and mathematical thinking in students with mental retardation. Research methods included observation, psychological and pedagogical experiment, psychodiagnostic tests, and diagnostic tasks. Mathematical and statistical methods were also used (the Pearson correlation coefficient reflecting the degree of correlation between changes in two variables, where the changes in one of them correspond to the changes in the other), as well as interpretive methods. Research result: the article examines the relationship of mental self-regulation, recreating imagination and mathematical thinking in students with mental retardation and confirms the interrelationship of these processes using methods of mathematical statistics in psychology. It also discusses the complex of correctional and developmental exercises aimed at the development of recreating imagination and offers the means of developing mental self-regulation for the further development of the learners' mathematical abilities. The data obtained in this research can be used in social psychology, pedagogy, developmental psychology, inclusive education, as well as for further theoretical development of this area and find application in the broad practice of inclusive education together with an established and experienced system of tasks.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
