The city of Batam is a city with a population that is predominantly Muslim, where in ensuring every believer of religion to worship and carry out his religious teachings, In ensuring that all food products circulating in Batam City do not contain unlawful/not in accordance with Islamic law, the government has regulated in the laws and regulations, where products that enter, are circulated, and traded in the territory of Indonesia must be certified halal. To analyze the problem of legal protection for consumers for food products that are not certified halal, it can be analyzed with the Theory of Legal Protection from Philipus M. Hadjon. The objectives to be achieved in this study are: To analyze the legal protection of consumers for non-halal certified food products circulating in Batam City. From the results of the study, it can be seen that preventive and repressive legal protection for consumers for food products that are not halal certified has been accommodated in the Legislative Regulations, but the preventive efforts made by the government are still not optimal in this case the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH). because there are still many non-halal food products circulating and being traded.

Banyak penulis yang telah mengungkap opininya tentang Covid-19. Sehingga, sudah cukup pembahasan bagaimana bahaya dan cara sementara untuk mengantisipasi covid-19. Akan tetapi, persoalan Covid-19 yang berhubungan jaminan kesehatan melalui lembaga keuangan yakni asuransi sebagai bentuk antisipasi yang dapat mengcover segala kendala keuangan para korban yang dinyatkan positiv covid-19 yang tergolong mahal. Faktor lain seperti kepesertaan bpjs juga tidak memberikan kepastian ditengah pandemi ini. Pemerintah sejatinya menanggung segala biaya bagi para korban yang telah dinyatakan positive covid-19, namun hal tersebut hanya terbatas pada kategori tertentu saja, mengingat jumlah korban yang setiap hari semakin bertambah banyak dalam waktu yang relatif sangat singkat, untuk itu bukan saat yang tepat untuk beradu argumen dan berdebat walaupun kesehatan merupakan bagian dari hak asasi manusia yang harus di dijamin negara. Diperlukan langkah penggebrak dan solutif ditengah wabah yang sedang menggerogoti dunia saat ini. Asuransi kesehatan adalah pilihan yang bijaksana dimasa pandemi yang masih berlangsung saat ini, sebagai bentuk perlindungan terhadap pasien covid-19. Memang tidak semua asuransi menyediakan polis terhadap pasien yang terkonfirmasi positif covid-19. Namun ada beberapa asuransi memberikan perlindungan terhadap pasien tersebut. Dalam hal ini adalah aplikasi uang elektronik (e-cash) OVO yang bekerjasama dengan asuransi prudential dalam polisnya yang bermaksud agar dapat meringankan beban pikiran masyarakat yang memerlukan perlindungan tambahan dari Covid-19

The implementation of juvenile justice with a progressive legal approach deserves to be used in child law enforcement because it prioritizes the interests of child protection. The relevance of progressive law enforcement to the juvenile justice system in Indonesia rests on the objectives of the juvenile justice system and the existence of rules for arrest, detention, and sentencing of crimes as an effort and form of sanctions against children, which can be in the form of treatment placed in the juvenile justice constitution. This research uses the juridical-normative method, namely legal analysis conducted by reviewing library materials or secondary data, and the data will be analysed through qualitative methods. This study aims to make law enforcers apply progressive law maximally in law enforcement of juvenile justice. The results of this study indicate that law enforcement for juvenile criminal justice in Indonesia is generally still far from the will of law enforcement with a progressive legal approach, and diversion is the right way to decide child criminal cases.

In the year 2017, Institute for Criminal Justice Reform (ICJR) found in the Surabaya District Court, the majority of the pleas of the Public Prosecutor for the accused as addicts and victims of narcotics abuse for convicting prison were 90% (ninety percent) and 10% (ten percent) are terminated by the imposition of narcotics rehabilitation as an attempted conviction. Therefore, this research was conducted in Batam city as one of the regions with high levels of narcotics illicit trafficking. The purpose of this study is to find out the procedures for implementing narcotic rehabilitation, to analyze the effectiveness of the law in the application of narcotic rehabilitation for addicts and victims of narcotics abuses in Batam City, and to measure the level of justice in providing penalization for addicts and victims of narcotics abusers processed through court verdicts. This research was carried out by conducting empirical legal research at the Riau Islands Police Narcotics Directorate, BNN Riau Islands Province, Batam District Court, and Batam BNN Rehabilitation Atelier. The results of this study state that in applying narcotic rehabilitation to addicts and victims of narcotics abuse can be made through voluntary and through legal processes (compulsory). The implementation of narcotics rehabilitation for narcotics addicts and victims of narcotics abuses in Batam City is not effective and the level of justice in providing criminal sentences for addicts and victims of narcotics abusers who through the legal process is felt to be unfair.
