The principle of stereoscopic display technology，the software and hardware framework for single-channel passive stereoscopic display and the simulation software Delmia are introduced in this paper. Certain shafting components serve as an example to realize the effect of passive stereoscopic display and disassembly simulation in Delmia, which is helpful for teaching and training about equipments maintenance

Precision evaluation for the reconstructed model of mechanical parts is an important content used to measure the success or failure of reverse engineering. The various error sources are analyzed detailedly, which are generated in the entire process of reverse modeling for mechanical parts and some methods of obtaining the values of errors are put forward. At the end, taking a piece for an example, the summation of all the errors is calculated by applying different software and the result satisfies the pre-established precision requirement.
