Mortality and morbidity is a big problem in a developing country such as Indonesia. Minister of Health in 2007 planned a program of labor Planning and Complications Prevention (Indonesian=P4K) by using stickers as efforts to accelerate the decline in infant mortality rate (IMR) and maternal mortality rate (MMR). By implementation of this Program, there should be a good role of midwives, kader, religious leaders, community leaders, husbands, pregnant women and families. This study is to find out the overview of kader’s role in labor planning program and complication Prevention in Padureso Kebumen. This is a descriptive research using observasional design. There are 37 respondents as the samples research by using simple random sampling. The instruments are questioner and interview. The overview of kader’s role in labor planning program and complication Prevention in Padureso Kebumen is categorized good (43.2%), kader’s role in filling sticker format is categorized bad (27.0%), kader’s role in facilitating the family is categorized good (32.4%), kader’s role in gaining agreement is categorized (54.1%), monitoring result is categorized bad (62.2%), kader’s role in evaluating result is categorized bad (67.6%), and kader’s role in performing report is categorized bad (59%). IUD is one of the long term contraceptions which its usage is still below the target of Kebumen goverment on 11%. The local government has done a workshop of Contraception Technology Update (CTU) for the midwives in the Kebumen regency so the numbers of the IUD acceptors had increased to 6.57% in June 2012 but however, this is still below the government's target. Some efforts have been done by the local governement but it still can not show a good of IUD contraveption good services. Objective of the research is to give clear descrpition of the analysis of factors relate to intra Uterine Device (IUD) contraception services by midwives in Kebumen Regency. This study this is an observational research with analytic survey method and cross sectional approach. The data were collected using interview consited of strutured questioners to 80 midwives in Kebumen area. The data were analyzed using univariat, bivariat and multivariat analyses techniques. The results show that the variables of knowledge, motivation, acces, human resource availability and policy are in good category but there are still 40% of midwives who have low motivation so they still prefer to give the other more practical contraceptions instead of IUD, and 31% of the places for the IUD services still have not been provided with flipcharts. The variable of IUD contraception has correlation with the variables of knowledge with (p=0.037), motivation (p=0.045), and the availability of the human resources (p=0.021). Meanwhile the variables of service acces (p=0.691) and policy (p=1.000) have no correlation with the behaviour of IUD contraception service. Togetherly the variables of motivation and human resource availability have influenced the behaviour of IUD contraception service p≤ 0.05 with Exp.(B) > 2.It is recomended to midwives to motivate them selves in giving more rasionally Family Planning service and it is necessary to hold an Up to date Contraception Technology Workshops for midwives to increase the quality of IUD contraception services. Keywords: birth ball, proses persalinan The Effect of Birthball Exercises on the Labor Process Abstract. One indicator of health status assessment is the maternal mortality rate (MMR). One cause of maternal death is prolonged labor, which is more than 18 hours. Birth ball is one of the exercises that can be applied to pregnant and childbirth women to influence pain, duration, and type of delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of birth ball training on pregnant women on cervical acceleration and laceration in maternity. The research method used was quasi-experimental in two groups, namely the treatment group and the control group with 30 respondents each. Respondents in this study were physiologically pregnant women with a gestational age of more than 34 weeks. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of birth ball training on the acceleration of cervical opening as indicated by the P value 0.002 and RR 2.09. While perineal laceration is not influenced by birthball practice, indicated by a P value of 3.45. The conclusion of the study was that there was a significant difference in the acceleration of cervical opening between the treatment groups given birthball training to the control group, but there was no significant difference in perineal laceration in the control and treatment groups. Keywords: birthball, labor process
Health is one of the indicators of community welfare, so the community needs quality health services to meet their basic needs. To improve services and increase patient satisfaction, hospitals need to apply the Covid-19 policy in screening and service flows which are predicted to affect patient satisfaction. Aim of this study wasdetermine the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method in this study used a cross-sectional approach. The population was outpatients at the obstetrics and gynecology polyclinic. The sample was determined using the accidental sampling technique with a total of 360 patients. The data were analyzed to determine the most dominant factor by using a logistic regression test. Based on the results of multivariate analysis, the variables with the greatest influence on patient satisfaction are the assurance variable (95% CI 1.50-6.06 with a p-value of 0.012), empathy (95% CI 1.38-4.65 with a p-value of 0.006), and tangible (95% CI 1.04-4.08 with a p-value of 0.001). Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the dimensions of service quality and patient satisfaction. The quality of service during the Covid-19 pandemic is considered good but needs to be optimized on the dimensions of assurance, empathy, and tangible..
