The paramagnetic resonance spectrum of divalent manganese has been measured in solid solutions of CdZHg1-,Se (0 5 z 5 0.6). A dependence of the spectroscopic splitting factor g and the hyperfine structure constant A on the composition parameter has been observed. At transition from semiconducting crystals to semi-metallic states, with inverted band etructure, the value of the gfactor clearly decreases. The parameters of the EPR spectrum and their relations to the other physical properties are discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
