This article presents the results of a study of the shear strength dependence of basalt plastics on the chemical nature and composition of the developed lubricants for continuous basalt fiber. It is shown that the recipe of lubricants has a significant effect on the shear strength of basalt plastics. It is mentioned that by purposefully selecting and varying the components of the lubricants, it is possible to achieve a significant increase in the shear strength, which is an important factor for basalt plastics for structural purposes.
Abstracts
Trends in the production of new lubricants compositions for basalt and glass fibers are presented. The results of purposeful development of lubricants recipes for basalt fibers that provide high adhesive strength with the epoxy binder, minimal damage during winding and subsequent processing into technical fabrics are given.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
