-2452-Aminopurine Derivatives with C6-Substituted Olefin as Novel Crosslinking Agents and the Synthesis of the Corresponding β-Phosphoramidite Precursors.-2'-Deoxynucleoside derivatives, such as (III) and (V), with 6-(2-substituted vinyl)-2-aminopurine are designed to diminish the reactivity of the vinyl group. They maintain reactivity toward potent nucleophiles such as Bu2NH and thiols, suggesting that they would form crosslinking with the target nucleobase due to the proximity within the senseantisense duplex. Thus, the corresponding β-phosphoramidite precursors, e.g. (IX), are prepared and applied to an automated oligonucleotide synthesizer. -(NAGATSUGI, F.; UEMURA, K.; NAKASHIMA, S.; MAEDA, M.; SASAKI, S.; Tetrahedron 53 (1997) 9, 3035-3044; Fac. ChemInform is a weekly Abstracting Service, delivering concise information at a glance that was extracted from about 100 leading journals. To access a ChemInform Abstract of an article which was published elsewhere, please select a “Full Text” option. The original article is trackable via the “References” option.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
