Five new and uncommon aromatic derivatives and the red pigment caulerpin have been reported from the CHClj extract of Caulerpa racemosa. The structures of the new derivatives have been elucidated as 1,5-diphenyl-1,4-pentadiene [1], /r»«r-cinnamyl-1-phenyl-2-propenyl ether [2], dicinnamyl ether [31, cinnamyl-3-phenyl-1-propenyl ether [4], and cinnamyl dihydrocinnamate [5] on the basis of their analytical and spectral data. The presence of such compounds is unusual in marine algal species, although similar propane dimers are widespread in terrestrial plants.
The paper proposes an efficient M-commerce digital cash framework in which customers can get digital cash from any bank and vendors can encash digital cash at any bank. Thus, the system provides flexible and anonymous digital cash. The proposed scheme has the following features: (i) Realizes practically feasible anonymous digital cash by using group signatures; (ii) Achieves fairness in goods exchanged between customers and vendors by using trusted, tamper-resistant hardware; (iii) Installs e-wallet as a secure Java smart card applet making it practical for ease of implementation and security; (iv) Does not require an on-line trusted third party (TTP); (v) Allows dispute resolution when necessary. The paper describes the protocol and the underlying framework, and analyzes protocol in terms of security and feasibility.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
