Source of materialAm ixture of AgCH 3 COO (silver acetate), PPh 3 (triphenylphosphine) and C 4H5N3 (2-AMP =2-aminopyrimidine) in molar ratio of 1:1:2 in CH 2 Cl 2 /CH 3 OH (10 ml, v/v =1/1) was stirred for 2hours at room temperature, then filtered. Subsequent slow evaporation of the filtrate resulted in the formation of colorless crystals of the title complex. Crystals suitable for single crystal X-ray diffraction were selected directly from the sample as prepared.
