With this resource, its users can identify and compare hymns, texts, and the contents of hymnals across a wide variety of denominations and time periods. The technical features of the tools in this suite offer a great deal of flexibility and customization for research or study that would otherwise be extremely laborious and time consuming. Hymnary harnesses the power of historical resources related to hymnology and continues to build a valuable database that offers its users a broad and detailed view of the landscape of hymnody, both past and present.
