The intermittency effect has been studied for the interactions of4.5A GeVIc %i and 4.IA GeVIc =Ne with emulsion using the diswibutions of both the pseudorapidity interval and the azimuthal angle interval of the shower particles emitted in the central rapidity region. The reduced scaled factorial moments as a function of the bin size in pseudorapidity and in azimuthal angle have been calculated and have revealed the presence of an intermittent behaviour which may be due to the random cascading propem of the reaction. The anomalous fractal dimension has been found to increase with the increase of rank of the moment.
A novel flexible active-matrix organic light-emitting-diode (OLED) display fabricated on planarized stainless-used-steel substrates with a resolution of 85 dpi in a 4.7-in. active area has been demonstrated. Amorphous indium-gallium-zinc-oxide thin-film transistors were used as the backplane for the OLED display with high device performance, high electrical stability, and long lifetime. A full-color moving image at a frame frequency of 60 Hz was also realized by using a flexible color filter directly patterned on a plastic substrate with a white OLED as the light source.
The quantity of hysteresis phenomena in capacitance response for metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitors with 100nm-thick SiO 2 films formed by the sputtering method was reduced by remote oxygen plasma treatment followed by highpressure H 2 O vapor heat treatment at 150 C. In order to determine the quantity of hysteresis phenomena in capacitance response, we defined hysteresis charge as the difference in fixed oxide charge density for round bias voltage application. Asfabricated MOS capacitor samples had a high density of hysteresis charges of 1:0 Â 10 12 cm À2 . The density of hysteresis charge was not decreased by 4:7 Â 10 5 -Pa-H 2 O-vapor heat treatment at 150 C for 3 h. On the other hand, it was markedly reduced to 1:0 Â 10 11 cm À2 by 13.56-MHz-radio frequency remote oxygen plasma treatment at 300 W and 150 C followed by 4:7 Â 10 5 -Pa-H 2 O-vapor heat treatment at 150 C for 3 h. Hysteresis phenomena are probably caused by a temporal electron charging up of SiO 2 films.
A novel flexible field‐sequential‐color FLCD panel driven by poly‐Si TFTs has been developed. A 16×16 active matrix panel was fabricated using polymer stabilized FLC and poly‐Si TFTs fabricated onto plastic substrate below 150°C, and colored moving images were demonstrated on the panel with frame frequency of 60Hz.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
