To check the two Objectives of the study one exploring the impact of work remittance on economic growth and second is Impact of work remittance on private investment and total consumption, 25 years’ time series data collected from the Economic survey of Pakistan for the time 1984-2009. The methodology used for the analysis, is Regression model so for regression we have used OLS (ordinary least square model).the work remittance has positively related with the Private investment and total consumption which results increase in GDP and economic growth of Pakistan. This research favor the study of Burki (1991),Ahmad(1986), Charless (1989) Adam(1998) and Darry (2005) this research may be helpful for other low income countries, they can analysis the Workers’ remittances impact on Private investment and Total consumption of their countries to encourage the workers remittance. Developing countries may request to developed countries to soft police for work remittance in favor of their countries. This might boost their TC and PI which boost up the economy.
This paper determines a comprehensive definition of workplace bullying and explores its job-related consequences. In the present study multi-methods approach was used which consist of questionnaire and in depth interviews. Interview was used in order to investigate perception and experience of workplace bullying and questionnaire to explore the consequences of workplace bullying. Results show bullying involves negative behaviors e.g. harassing, socially excluding someone and/or negatively effecting someone's work tasks ,which occurs frequently and continues for period of time and victim is not only unable to control these acts but also suffer in severe health and job related consequences.
Lack perceived quality in Saudi Arabia has been repeatedly identified as one of the most formidable barriers to people for engaging in customer loyalty.Despite, the widespread establishment of shopping malls all over the country, the statistics revealed that Saudi consumers, although trying grocery shopping in some shopping malls, still prefer to do their grocery shopping activities in traditional grocery stores and convenience stores (Othaim, 2012).This paper provides an overview perceived service quality and customer satisfaction which affect Saudi customer loyalty and it reviews relevant previous studies that investigate the relationships among said three variables. This paper provides the critical remarks and direction for future research.
The current research investigates different aspects of performance appraisal system, & how performance appraisal system can play its role in improving the performance of teachers in higher education institutions of Pakistan. In the present study multi-methods approach was used which consist of survey questionnaire and in depth interviews. Survey questionnaire was used in order to investigate various aspects of current performance appraisal system and in depth interview to study the perception of teachers on performance appraisal approach. The focus of the study was on the employees of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Pakistan. The researchers undertook the public sector University of Pakistan, as a case study in the present study. Results show that although employees of BZU are aware of the useful outcomes of performance appraisal but there are some hindering factors e.g. untrained raters, exclusion of multiple raters, absence of feedback in the way of successful implementation of performance appraisal system. Present study also suggests the solutions with their implications regarding said factors.
Orientation-This empirical research explores the impact of agricultural loans provided by the Government on the standard of living of the small farmers in developing countries where the Pakistan is taken as a case.Purpose – The aim of the researchers in this endeavor is to identify the role of agricultural loans provided to the small farmers in the developing countries and the outcomes of these loans with respect to the standard of livings of the farmers. Design/ Methodology- Researchers have interviewed the 300 small farmers who are all the clients of an agricultural bank (ADBP) and collect the primary data. Data was analyzed in terms of percentages and researchers investigate the impact of credit facility on the purchasing patterns of these small farmers.Findings- Researchers analyzed the consumption patterns of the farmers in 4 sectors i.e. Structure of households before and after availing the credit facility,Change in consumption of electricity and electronic appliances, Change in education of farmer’s child, Transportation and assets and change in food and health. Research results indicate that there is increased trend in all of these 4 sectors after availing the credit facility by the small farmers.Practical implications- Current research may be use by the other developing countries to investigate the role of agricultural loans on the well being of their farmers. It also elaborates the role of agricultural banks in enhancing the standard of living of the farmers.Keywords: Agricultural loans, economic well being, farmers, developing countries
