Introduction: The epicentrum of HIV / AIDS the highest in the man sex with man(MSM) followed by female sex workers (FSW). The MSM community is a community that has not yet been opened and is difficult to intervene them. Low condom use and higher MSM estimates are one of the reported increases in HIV / AIDS. Goals: the goal to identified of a sexual role, characteristic of MSM, and also discusses MSM negotiation techniques for both old and new couples. Method: this research is a quantitative study with cross sectional research taken at MSM services at Buleleng Health Center 1. The samples taken were 58 respondents with interview techniques through questionnaires, negotiations and condom use. The analysis used was univariate, bivariate and multivariate are carried out with logistic regression using software. Results: The results of this study found that the most heterosexual role was 43.1%. Effective negotiation is carried out on new partners is the risk information (AOR: 7.2 95% CI 1.2-40.3) and on old couples by direct request 9). Conclusion: condom negotiation by MSM is still very low and based on the type of partner. The new partner is more effective in the delivery of profitable information techniques while the old partner is more effective by asking directly.
Stunting merupakan masalah yang sangat penting untuk segera ditanggulangi. Prevalensi stunting saat ini masih diatas dari target WHO. Sehingga hal inilah yang memerlukan sebuah pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan deteksi dini stunting di TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah melakukan deteksi dini stunting pada anak TK sehingga penanganan lebih dini dapat dilakukan. Metode dari pengabdian masyarakat adalah tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Sasaran dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh siswa di TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng sejumlah 64 siswa. Pelaksanaan ini dibantu oleh berbagai pihak meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat selama rentang waktu bulan Agustus-Desember 2019. Deteksi ini dilakukan secara berkala untuk menilai tinggi badan dan berat badan. Hasil dari pengabdian menemukan bahwa rata-rata berat badan dan tinggi badan meningkat secara signifikan selama waktu pengabdian dilakukan. Walaupun nilainya tidak besar. Kesimpulannya adalah pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berhasil untuk meningkatkan rata-rata berat dan tinggi badan siswa TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng.
Men who have sex with men(MSM) community had become one of the epicentrum of transmission of STIs and HIV / AIDS. The results of an integrated survey of biological behavior of MSM condom use are only less than 50%. The objective of this study is to determine the most dominant factors increasing condom use in MSM. Survey Cross sectional study on MSM with a sample of 58 people selected by snowball sampling when MSM examined the Buleleng Health Center 1. Data collection was done by interviewing a questionnaire related to: social demographic characteristics, internal, external factors, negotiation and condom use. Data were analyzed by chi square followed by logistic regression using software. The study found that several factors related to condom use in MSM namely marital status showed that the respondents were unmarried (AOR: 9.5, 96% CI 1.5-59.7). Then the perception of high MSM susceptibility was also related to condom use (AOR: 6.5, 96% CI 1.3-33.3). Subsequently the availability of condoms on site and carried by MSM (AOR: 6.8, 96% CI 1.1-45.6). Factors related to condom use in MSM in Buleleng Regency are unmarried status, condom availability and perceived susceptibility.
Indonesia is still in a position of the concentrated epidemic, where female sex workers are still one of the risk populations that are very vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. The process of accepting and living experience of infected female sex workers becomes very important so that the quality of life is better. Buleleng is one of the districts in Bali with the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS by sex workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the life experiences of sex workers when infected with HIV/AIDS in Buleleng Regency. Quality research methods with a phenomenological approach. Participants numbered 5 participants, with 4 sex workers who were infected with HIV/AIDS and 1 holder of an HIV service program at the Sawan Health Center. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with instruments in the form of interview guidelines. Data collection techniques by conducting in-depth interviews. Then the results are analyzed by transcribing and compiling a theme. The results found five major themes, namely risk factors for infection, self-response, social response after infection, condom use behavior, and health insurance with ARV adherence. The conclusion is that more sex workers do not want to disclose their HIV status, then there are still many sex workers who do not have health insurance so that it leads to non-adherence with treatment.
