It is noted that the present time period is transitional for cloud physics: there is a transition from the stage of studying "elementary" processes in clouds to the stage of studying clouds as a whole, taking into account their system properties. One of the directions of development of this scientific direction at the coming stage of its development is the study of the role of their systemic properties in the processes of cloud formation. The methodology, model and some results of numerical investigation of the role of emergent properties of clouds in the formation of their microstructural characteristics are presented.
