The study of the words of the Holy Qur’an and the formation of its terminology represent an origin of the language, given the constant of the affiliation of the Holy Qur’an to the heart of Arab life, and the beginning of its development. The Holy Qur’an is one of the Arab pilgrims, and its vocabulary, vocabulary and terminology is at the top of the ladder of eloquence. This study relied on the descriptive historical approach, followed by examples of political terms: peace and reconciliation, covenant and the Charter, and it was a semantic linguistic study, in the light of Quranic evidence, to differentiate the significance of these terms and their meanings, with reference to the semantic and use differences between those words.
This research highlights the importance of the Arabic lexicon in teaching and studying ta’bîr courses in Ma’had al-Imarat Bandung. This qualitative research depends on a field study and a descriptive analysis. This importance is due to three aspects: The first is the ta’bîr courses of materials prescribed in any Arabic language learning institutes to develop students’ four skills. The second is that lexicons are tools for teaching and learning the Arabic language, especially in the subject matter of ta’bîr. The third is that the Arabic lexicon is one of the primary sources people refer to correct their linguistic knowledge. The results indicate that language acquisition is the most important of that knowledge. Furthermore, in acquiring the Arabic language, many factors are linguistic and non-linguistic. Dictionaries are considered one of the primary tools in language acquisition in studying the subject matter of ta’bîr.
This study is aimed to analyze spelling error of Arabic for non Arabic native in Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences (LIPIA), Indonesia. This study also contributes in developing curriculum of Arabic studies. The sample of this study is 117 students of Syaria Faculty who study in the first semester. They have learnt at Arabic preparation program for two years before. The spelling error which is analyzed include language style and grammar. The procedures of analysis include (1) error identification of Arabic spelling, (2) error description of Arabic spelling, (3) identification of error repetition number and (4) data analysis and findings' interpretation.
