Background: Quality hospital services according to professional standards and service standards is the hope of all hospital users. Patient identification is an indicator of patient safety. Research purposes:The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge about the call of nurse and midwife patients at Rajawali Citra Bantul Hospital, Yogyakarta. Methods: The research method with descriptive analytic, which aims to describe the level of knowledge about the telephone patient nurse and midwife. Data collection of patient knowledge was carried out on nurses and midwives as many as 61 respondents Results: The univariate data analysis method to describe the level of knowledge based on the age of the majority of respondents aged 26-35 years as many as 54 (88.5%) are included in the early adult category, while respondents aged 36-45 years are 7 respondents (11, 5 %) in the late adult category. Based on gender, most respondents were female as many as 45 respondents (73.8%) and male gender as many as 16 respondents (26.2%). Most of the professional respondents as nurses were 45 respondents (73.8%) and 16 respondents (26.3%) as midwives. The background of education respondents, mostly Diploma 3, were 48 respondents as many as 48 respondents (78.7%) and graduate graduates were 13 respondents (21.3%). Respondents with a work period of 0-10 years were 47 respondents (77%) and a working period of 11-20 years were 14 respondents (23%). Respondents as executors were 54 respondents (88.5%) and team leaders were 7 respondents (11.5%). All respondents have received patient safety training as many as 61 respondents (100%). Most of the patient knowledge level respondents had good knowledge as many as 53 respondents (86.9%) and had sufficient knowledge as many as 8 respondents (13.1%). Conclusion: Most of the respondents have a good level of knowledge. Suggestions Midwives and nurses can maintain and continue to improve their knowledge of patients and their application in hospitals.
