An organization’s website is one of its most crucial part in supporting the success of an organization. It can be used as a media campaign and acquaintanceship. Because of its importance, then user engagement is needed. User engagement is a crucial mediator in the process of persuasion involving interactive media. The user’s engagement in building the organization’s website is still low, especially on the university website. In this article, we developed a university web with a push notification to attract the user. Push notification implies not only a change in the interface between users and technology; they also imply changing user dynamics and patterns of use. This article discussing the use of push notifications can change the interest and motivation of web users. The questionnaires analyzed with User Experience Questionare+(UEQ+) conducted on respondents identified that users’ motivation to open and contribute to revisit websites increases.
System backup can’t be a good solution without planning. Secure data backup planning will prevent more data loss. The Comprehensive Exam is a system to conduct a comprehensive exam and test score management, which is also carried out with the Computer-Based Test. The two systems are connected, these are running with a data-based application programming interface (API) synchronization on two different servers. Two servers running simultaneously with the synchronized API. Special methods of solving this problem are needed to back up supported information systems and computer-based tests. Disaster Recovery is a term for recovery and resumption. A disaster recovery plan is a plan to improve information technology (IT) infrastructure from other disasters that endanger the information infrastructure. One method of recovering business processes is to restore the data backup itself. Data backup is one of the important elements, the data backup method will be applied is the disk mirroring method, which is making a permanent backup from the main data center, data backup will be provided a real-time backup using the Distributed Replicated Block Device (DRBD) concept. In our research concluded automatically synchronizes implementation backup data using the DRBD concept.
Covid 19 has become a pandemic that has hit all over the world. Almost all sectors are affected by this pandemic, not only in the health sector. The economic and industrial sectors have also suffered severe impacts due to the coronavirus pandemic. This spreading virus does not support economic growth either nationally or globally. Finally, it has an impact on various industrial sectors in the country, from manufacturing to finance. The industry was one of the largest contributors to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) last year. The contribution given from this industry to the 2019 GDP was recorded at 19.62%. Due to this pandemic, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), during February 2020, the importance of all categories of goods decreased compared to January 2020. This stunted industrial development was due to the government's appeal for social distancing; social distancing made it difficult for industry players to make transactions. Several obstacles require re-engineering of business processes in the industry. In general, the industry already has an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used in the related production process. However, ERP does not enter into the realm of buying and selling or the process of procuring goods with consumers. Therefore we need a Business Process Reengineering as an engineering process to integrate the ERP and the bidding system or quotation system. Using the moving average method as a forecasting method, we can get sustainable sales even during the Covid period, even seen an increase in transactions in the new period, along with the implementation of the quotation information system applied in the re-engineering business process.
Abstract. This research has applied an integrated design and development of planning information system, which is been designed using Enterprise Architecture Planning. Frequent discrepancy between planning and realization of the budget that has been made, resulted in ineffective planning, is one of the reason for doing this research. The design using EAP aims to keep development aligned and in line with the strategic direction of the organization. In the practice, EAP is carried out in several stages of the planning initiation, identification and definition of business functions, proceeded with architectural design and EA implementation plan that has been built. In addition to the design of the Enterprise Architecture, this research carried out the implementation, and was tested by several methods of black box and white box. Black box testing method is used to test the fundamental aspects of the software, tested by two kinds of testing, first is using User Acceptance Testing and the second is using software functionality testing. White box testing method is used to test the effectiveness of the code in the software, tested using unit testing. Tests conducted using white box and black box on the integrated planning information system, is declared successful. Success in the software testing can not be ascertained if the software built has not shown any distinction from prior circumstance to the development of this integrated planning information system. For ensuring the success of this system implementation, the authors test consistency between the planning of data and the realization of prior-use of the information system, until after-use information system. This consistency test is done by reducing the time data of the planning and realization time. From the tabulated data, the planning information system that has been built reduces the difference between the planning time and the realization time, in which indicates that the planning information system can motivate the planner unit in realizing the budget that has been designed. It also proves that the value chain of the information planning system has brought implications for budget realization.
ERP was built to simplify existing business processes so that business processes became more effective and efficient. The term “business” also refers to individuals or organizations organized efforts and activities to produce added value, unexceptionally in education. Higher education institutions have an education system that must be accredited as an assessment of the institution’s performance. Based on the accreditation assessment criteria carried out by BAN-PT, there are at least nine assessment criteria in which almost all universities have their data in their system. This paper discusses collecting the right data to acquire data from various systems within the university into an integrated accreditation system. The data transactions between various university information systems and accreditation systems implementing the Application Programming Interface (API) to make the data acquisition process more effective. The results showed an increase in accreditation data collection speed, and assessors could see quickly and clearly through the data collected in the accreditation system.
