A low-voltage oversampling analog-to-digital converter for high-speed, high-resolution applications has been integrated in a 0.25-pm CMOS technology. The converter employs a sigma-delta modulator with reduced integrator swing ranges to enable operation from a 1.2-V supply. It achieves a dynamic range of 92 dB for a 1.25-MHz signal band at an oversampling ratio of 16, while dissipating 83 mW.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
