Abstract:In this study we consider MHD steady fluid flow between two infinite parallel vertical porous plates with heat transfer. The governing equations considered we reduced to specific form according to the geometry of the studied problem. The non-dimensional governing equations involved in the present analysis are solved using the finite difference technique and the expressions for velocity and temperature distributions have been obtained. The effect of different parameters such as magnetic parameter, Prandtl number, thermal Grashoff number, and the temperature and velocity distributions are discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
