The objective of this work is to formulate and evaluate a cosmetic herbal face pack for glowing skin by using natural ingredients. With the varying concentrations, four different formulations containing ingredients such as multani mitti, turmeric, aloe vera, sandal wood, orange peel, neem and nutmug; were prepared named as F1 to F4. All prepared formulations were evaluated by different parameters like organoleptic properties and physico-chemical parameters and stability along with irritancy test and microbial load. Among all formulation, F2 was found to be good in physical parameters, free from skin irritation and maintained its consistency even after stability storage conditions and also having microbiological stability.
Objective: The present study was carried out to investigate the synergestic effect of and juice for central lemon ginger and peripheral analgesic activity on experimental animals using Acetic acid induce writhing, Hot plate and Tail immersion methods. The central analgesic activity was measured by Hot plate and Tail Material and methods: immersion methods in Swiss albino mice and peripheral analgesic activity was measured by acetic acid induced writhing in Swiss albino mice. Aspirin was used as the standard drug in the dose of 100 mg/kg. The juice and lemon ginger juice was administered at 0.8 ml per animal. Phytochemical analysis showed the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids, glycosides, saponins, tannins, sterols, carbohydrates, and resins. All the doses showed significant Result: central and peripheral analgesic activity i.e (p<0.05), which is comparable to that of the control and standard drug aspirin. The test and standard drugs significantly (p<0.05) reduced the number of abdominal constriction and stretching of hind limb induce by the injection of acetic acid in a dose dependent manner. The Hot plate and Tail immersion test useful in the elucidating centrally mediated antinociceptive responses, which focused mainly on changes above the spinal cord level. All the test and standard drugs significantly (p<0.05) reduced the pain as compare to the control group. Conclusion: The results of pharmacological tests performed in the present studies suggest that the and lemon ginger juice in combination gives Synergestic effect for analgesic activity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
