Health were described in Part I of this paper.1 In addition, the general descriptive characteristics of the screened population were presented. Of the 26,957 persons screened in 1960-1962, 5,605 or 20.8 For both white males and females the per cent of individuals 25 per cent or more overweight was lowest in the 5-15-year age group. The per cent of overweight white males increased to 4.9 per cent in the 15-24-year group and did not vary significantly (X2=8.4, 4 df)
