Zusammenfassun#: Fiir einmalig und dauerhaft eingesetzte Systeme mit serielt geschalteten Stufen werden mit Hilfe des diskreten Maximum-Prinzips die stufenweise optimalen Komponentenanzahlen bestimmt, welche die Summe aus den Kosten der Komponenten und der Systemunzuverl~issigkeit minimieren. Die vonder Komponentenredundanz abh~ngige Unzuverliissigkeit eines dauerhaft betriebenen Systems wird ausftihrlich abgeleitet.Summary: This paper deals with systems consisting of multicomponent stages in series. For both, systems only used once and systems used permanent the optimal component number per stage is evaluated by the discrete maximum-principle so, that the total cost of components and unreliability of the system are minimized. The unreliability depending on redundancy of components of the permanent used system is explicitly derived.
