This work aims to propose to the peasants producing varieties of seeds, biomass and to determine some physico-chemical characteristics of these seeds. Thirteen agronomic parameters and 8 characters were evaluated. The got results showed an important variability between the ecotypes. The most relevant variables which make it possible to describe variability between the groups are the number of pod, the number of seeds, the weight of the hulls, the biomass, and the rate of filling, the height and the scale. Thus, the varieties N21DR, N10BBrp, N8BRcp, and N18ZRET N9BN produced more seeds whereas the varieties N15ZBoNg and N7BRc produced more air biomass. They can be selected at agronomic ends within the framework of the fertilization of the grounds. The results revealed that the seeds are energy foods, rich in proteins and glucids. On the other hand, they are low in lipids, ashes and have low moisture being able to facilitate their conservation over one relatively long period. The cultivar N1KBN which recorded the highest ash content could be used in the fortification of food. Cultivar white N1KBN recorded the highest content of proteins. Consequently, its seeds could be used to supplement traditional food and to be recommended in the sector of the made up flours. The use of seeds in these fields could contribute to reduce the protein deficits at certain poor populations, in the grip of protein-energy diseases.
Conclusions et application des résultats. Vol.160 :2021 Différents usages d’Alchornea cordifolia (euphorbiaceae) dans la localité de Daloa (Côte d’Ivoire) ABSTRACT Objective: This work aims to learn about the different uses of Alchornea cordifolia in the locality of Daloa (Côte d'Ivoire). Methodology and results: It was carried out in the form of a survey among traditional healers, sellers and consumers of Alchornea cordifolia in the town of Daloa. The results obtained that the leaves are used at 60.7% by the respondents. The type of study change during the different preparation times is preferably the color (60.71%), followed by the flavor (29.28%) and finally the 10% aroma. Dried leaves are the most consumed (87.71%) against 14.28% of fresh leaves. The vernacular name is a function of the ethnic group. Alchornea cordifolia is a plant that is used more for its medicinal (83.70%) than nutritional (16.30%) virtues. Respondents (84.29%) want Alchornea cordifolia leaves to be transformed into tea. Conclusions and application of the results. It emerges from this investigation that, Alchornea cordifolia is a plant which has nutritional and medicinal virtues. The organs of this plant are used in traditional pharmacopoeia. The leaves are the most used parts of this plant. Leaves are the permanent organs on plants and therefore available throughout the year. The transformation of the leaves of this plant into tea or herbal tea could help improve the nutritional status of the populations of Côte d'Ivoire. Key words: Alchornea cordifolia, herbal tea, vernacular name, tea
The need in animal proteins has exponentially increased in the ivorian big cities in these latest years. It is the case of Daloa, where the broiler industry can meet the needs of meat consumers after 35 to 45 days. To respect the required time, the poultry farmers take veterinary medecins notally the antibiotics. The use of these antibiotics in veterinary medicin can lead to bioresistant phenomenon by the consumer, favorising the selection of resistant bacteries to later treatments. To protect the consumer, this study has been made to identify and quantify antibiotic residues in broiler meat. For the purpose, broilers from the farming hours in the urban zones of Daloa and ready for sale, have been sampled at random with some sellers on different markets of Daloa. The samples (15) have been analyzed by chromatography multi residue. Antibiotic analyses were performed on a SHIMADZU chromatographic set consisting of a sample changer, a high-pressure binary HPLC pump, a UV-visible absorption detector. This method permits to analyze simultaneously many families of antibiotic residues. The results of this chromatographic analysis made on this foodstuff have revealed the presence of four (4) families of antibiotics: sulfonamides, Macrolides, Tetracyclines and Fluoroquinolones. The concentration rates of samples are between 30 to 100%. The average concentration of their residues vary from 12.46 ± 21.12 to 90.80 ± 187.18 µg / Kg. These concentrations are generally lower than the safety standards (MRLs) recommended by the Codex Alimentarius. However, face to the phenomenon of boiresistance that the excessive use of the antibiotics brings about, the results of this study must prompt the public powers to set a politic to reduce their use. In fact, the breeders must be sensibilised to a correct use of antibiotics.
