Value stream mapping (VSM) is one of the tools in Iean manufacturing that can be used to improve the efficiency of a company. VSM can describe material flow and information flow from upstream to downstream, from suppliers to consumers. VSM can be used to identify waste through sorting each activity into value-added or non-value-added activities. VSM training that begins with providing understanding of the concept of lean manufacturing is expected to increase the ability of workers to improve and enhance the performance of their companies. This training gives good results, seen from the results of discussions and presentations of each group in a given case study.
The company's future performance cannot be reflected only in the current financial performance in the financial statements. Long-term company performance can be reflected by the technology being developed. The role of information and communication technology (ICT) is very important for a company to survive and be able to compete in modern business competition in the era of industry 4.0. Meanwhile, learning organization is fostering communication, knowledge exchange in order to promote the innovation. Ambidexterity capability of organization develops structures to manage innovation and achieve sustained success over time. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of ICT and organizational learning on firm’s innovative performance which mediated by ambidexterity based on millennial workforce perception. The result of this research found that ICT has significantly positive influence on ambidexterity, but not significantly positive influence on innovative performance. Learning organization has significantly positive influence both on ambidexterity and innovative performance. Ambidexterity has significantly influence on innovative performance. The mediating role of ambidexterity had significantly positive enhanced the influence ICT on innovative performance. Meanwhile, ambidexterity had not significantly positive enhance the influence learning organization on innovative performance.
Increasing the speed of the product change-over process is critical by implementing the Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) effectively. The smallest activity variation between operators, activity speed, and process accuracy are identified research targets. This research was developed in the electronic component industry, where the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) and Hierarchy Task Analysis (HTA) methods can describe the most crucial and key activities. Therefore, it takes accuracy and reliability between operators to carry out this activity. This paper presents the acceleration of the product change-over process by developing an automated non-contact inspection method in the assembly area using a vision system. The results of the study illustrate that the change-over process can be carried out in single-digit minutes (7 minutes), or reduced by 81%, and the speed of change-over activities between operators is the same.
Customer value plays an important role in winning business competition, so we need to find out how much customer value can satisfy customers and make them loyal. Therefore, customer value also needs to be continuously developed through continuous research. In this study, respondents with high customer value will be satisfied with the products they use, and this satisfaction will lead to loyalty to these customers. This is consistent with the research finding that customer value affects loyalty through satisfaction. This research aims to examine the impact of customer value and brand image on loyalty, and to use intermediaries as satisfaction. The research unit is a customer/user of Nissan Motor. The methods used in this study are quantitative, with explanatory methods, more specifically related to causality. According to the research purpose, the data analysis method used is structural equation modelling (SEM), the data is processed using JASP software. Testing is done through direct effects and indirect effects.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
