For photovoltaic (PV) system designers, the use of simulation programs is very important with the ability to perform detailed analysis such as the geographical area where the system installation will be performed, the optimum selection according to parameters such as energy demand and system reliability. In this study, it was aimed to simulate the climate data, load demand and basic system components by using PV*SOL, Helioscope, Polysun and PVGIS, PV simulation programs in the simulation environment and to visualize the general characteristics of the 1MW installed solar power plant in Isparta. The data used in the simulations were measured using simulation programs obtained from actual measured values from national and international sources and / or from reliable databases. In addition, the amount of electricity generated by the PV power plant was transferred to the PC environment and the simulation data of the PV system was compared with the real environment data, so the accuracy of the simulation programs was examined. When the comparison is made among the simulation programs, it is observed that it was observed that Helioscope has the least error rate in terms of giving the closest result to the real environment data. Moreover, the sequence of the other simulation programs in terms of giving the least error rate is as PVGIS, Polysun Online, and PV * SOL. Thus, FV simulation programs are thought to be able to provide further infrastructures for future work together with reduced error rates.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
