Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan instrumen diagnostik kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA materi kalor berdasarkan learning continuum, (2) menemukan karakteristik instrumen diagnostik kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA materi kalor, berdasarkan learning continuum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan tes diagnostik. Penelitian didahului dengan penyusunan learning continum, kisi-kisi tes, hierarki materi prasyarat dan spesifikasi item pada materi IPA konsep kalor yang ditelaah melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Uji coba dilaksanakan dengan subjek uji sebanyak 484 siswa kelas VII SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. Seleksi butir tes untuk mendapatkan fit tes menggunakan program Quest dan Program M Plus untuk uji kecocokan/kesesuaian model atribut dengan matriks Q. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) instrumen yang berhasil dikembangkan berbentuk tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan, berjumlah 28 butir soal dan menghasilkan tujuh Q matrik; (2) analisis dengan program Quest diperoleh butir fit dengan model dan program M Plus menemukan besarnya probabilitas pada setiap latent class pada tujuh Q matriks yang tersusun.Kata kunci: instrumen, diagnostik kognitif, IPA DEVELOPING THE INSTRUMENTS OF COGNITIVE DIAGNOSTIC FOR SCIENCE SUBJECT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThe study aimed at: (1) producing cognitive diagnostic instruments for science subjects of heat topic based on learning continuum (2) finding the characteristics of the instrument developed The method used in this research is the development of diagnostic tests. The research was preceded by the preparation of learning continuum, test blueprint , hierarchy of prerequisite materials and test specification on materials of science concept which were examined through Focus Group Discussion (FGD).The test trial was implemented with 484 students of class VII SMP in Sleman as subjects. Selection of test items to get fit tests used Quest program and M Plus program to test the suitability/fitness model with the attribute matrix Q. The results show: (1) the instruments developed in the form of a multiple choice test with reason, totaling 28 items and seven Q matrix; (2) analysis using Quest program finds item fit with the model ,and program M Plus find the probability in each latent class on seven Q matrix composed.Keywords: instruments, cognitive diagnostic, science
Tujuan penelitian untuk: (1) menemukan prosedur pengembangan tes diagnostik kesulitan belajar matematika SD/MI, (2) mengetahui kualitas butir tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan, dan (3) mengetahui informasi yang dapat dimunculkan dari hasil analisis tes diagnostik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dari Borg & Gall. Subjek uji sebanyak 542 orang siswa kelas VI SD/MI di Kota Banda Aceh dan Aceh Besar. Analisis kuantitatif untuk mengetahui informasi butir tes menggunakan program ITEMAN dan Program R. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pengembangan tes diagnostik kesulitan belajar matematika di SD ini meliputi: studi pendahuluan, studi literatur dan hasilhasil penelitian, analisis masalah, merumuskan learning continuum, merumuskan peta konsep, menyusun tes essay, polarisasi jawaban siswa, menyusun tes bentuk pilihan ganda, validasi pakar melalui focus group discussion, uji coba terbatas, dan uji yang diperluas, (2) indeks daya beda butir tes antara 0,391 sampai dengan 2,317, indeks kesukaran butir tes antara -2,158 sampai dengan 2,528, kecocokan uji tes dengan kemampuan peserta (θ) antara -2,00 sampai dengan 2,60, dan fungsi informasi tes antara 0,111 sampai dengan 3,879, dan (3) informasi yang dapat dimunculkan dari tes meliputi: hasil tes secara klasikal dan individual, grafik ketuntasan belajar, profil individual, analisis salah konsepsi dan saran remedial.Kata kunci: tes diagnostik, kesulitan belajar matematika______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING DIAGNOSTIC TEST OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING DIFFICULTIES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSAbstract The purposes of this study were: (1)to find a method to develop diagnostic test of mathematics learning difficulties in primary schools, (2) to determine the diagnostic test characteristics developed, and (3) to determine the information that could be generated by using diagnostic test. This study was a development research by Borg & Gall. The participants of main field testing were 542 grade VI students of primary schools in Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar Regency. The quantitative analysis to determine the information of the test items developed used ITEMAN program and R Program. The results of this study are: (1) in developing the diagnostic test of the mathematics learning difficulties, the research phase included preliminary study, literature and research results study, problem analysis, formulating learning continuum, formulating concept map, preparing essay-form tests, students' answers polarization, preparing multiple-choice tests, experts' validation with focus group discussion, preliminary and readability tests, operational field testing, and main field testing to obtain model that fitted theoretically and empirically, (2) discriminating power of test items index ranges from 0.391 to 2.317, the difficulty test items index ranges from -2.158 to 2.528, the test compatibility testing with the participants ability (0) ranges from -2.00 to 2.60 and the test information function ranges from 0.111 to 3.879, and (3) the information that can be generated from the diagnostic test includes classically and individually test results, graphic of learning outcomes attainment, individual profile, every answers analysis, false conception and remedial suggestion analysis.Keywords: diagnostic test, mathematics learning difficulties
The completeness of a program in the education unit (in this case secondary school) will end with the holding of an evaluation of learning outcomes or exams, which are school exams and national exams, students will increase their learning activities in preparation for being able to take exams and try to produce satisfying achievements. This study aims to explain students' experiences in practicing self-regulated learning (SRL), which includes students' readiness in an active, constructive process, able to set learning goals, monitor, regulate, and control cognition, motivation, and behavior. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of a focused group discussion (FGD) and essay writing on seven main informant students, plus interviews with seven supporting informants (subject friends). The informants in this study are students of class XII who have taken the school exams and national exams. The results of this study explain that the experience of SRL in students, in behavior, motivation, and cognitive (learning strategies), still requires an increase in the problem of time management, planning, and targets. Internally, the suitability of SRL is motivated by habits, motivation, and goals, while externally influenced by culture, parenting, and the environment. SRL is a managerial skill in learning because it regulates learning resources so that they can be taught or trained as early as possible to optimize academic skills and academic adjustment of students in the future.
AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi menggunakan model CIPPO (context, input, process, product, and outcomes) yang bertujuan mengungkapkan tingkat employability lulusan SMK 4 tahun dengan menggunakan SMK 3 tahun sebagai base line. Sampel penelitian adalah delapan SMK 4 tahun dan delapan SMK 3 tahun dengan melibatkan 544 orang sebagai subyek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kurikulum SMK 4 tahun dan 3 tahun menggunakan kurikulum nasional yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kebutuhan Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri (DU/DI); (2) Kompetensi lulusan SMK 4 tahun seluruhnya berkategori sangat baik, sedangkan SMK 3 tahun 64% sangat baik; (3) menurut DU/DI, lulusan SMK 4 tahun unggul dalam kedisiplin, keuletan, kemampuan teori, kemampuan praktek, rasa percaya diri, ketelitian, kreativitas, dan kepemimpinan; (4) Kompetensi guru SMK 4 tahun unggul dalam membimbing siswa, menghasilkan bahan ajar, mengembangkan bengkel, dan membangun kerja sama dengan DU/DI; (5) sarana dan prasarana SMK 3 dan 4 tahun memiliki kemiripan kondisi; (6) pembiayaan SMK 4 tahun melibatkan alumni sedangkan SMK 3 tahun tidak; (7) Kecepatan mendapat pekerjaan, jumlah lulusan yang bekerja, dan penghasilan lulusan SMK 4 tahun lebih baik dari pada SMK 3 tahun; dan (8) 3) kum231@ums.ac.id Abstract The aim of this research is to disclose the employability level of 4-year Vocational Secondary School (or Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK)) graduates by using 3-year SMK as the base-line. This research is an evaluation research using CIPPO (context, input, process, product, and outcomes) model. The sample of the research is eight 4-year SMK and eight 3-year SMK, and it involves 544 persons as the research subjects. The data were collected by observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation, and analyzed quantitatively by using descriptive statistic analysis. The research result shows that: (1) 4-year and 3-year SMKs are using national curriculum developed based on the needs of Bussiness & Insdustrial Performer (DU/DI), (2) the competency of all (100%) the 4-year SMK graduates are "very good", while only 64% 3-year SMK graduates is "very good", (3) based on DU/DI"s stand point, the 4-year SMK graduates is better in 8 aspects (discipline, tenacuty, theoretical knowledge, practical skill, self-independence, carefullness, creativity and leadership), (4) 4-year SMK teacher is better in guiding the students, producing learning material, developing workshop, and cooperating with DU/DI, (5) 4-year SMK has similiar condition of facilities with 3-year SMK, (6) 4-year SMK funding system is better than the 3-year SMK by involving the alumni, (7) 4-year SMK graduate is better in number of working graduates, income, and speed to get jobs, (8) 4-year SMK graduate are more satisfied with their job than the 3-year graduate.

Analisis terhadap model menggunakan data simulasi, yang skenario pembangkitan data simulasi dilakukan berdasarkan banyaknya peserta tes (500, 1000) dan banyaknya soal tes (11, 20, 40 ANALYSIS OF SIMULTANEOUS MODEL OF ONE PARAMETER LOGISTIC MODEL AND RESPONSE TIME BASED ON SIMULATION DATA AbstractThe aim of this research is to analyse simultaneous model One Parameter Logistic Model (1-PLM) and respon time. The analysis of model used the simulation data, where the data generation scenario was done based on the number of test takers (500, 1000) and the number of test items (11, 20, 40). Parameter estimation method used the Bayesian method, Markov Chain Monte Carlo. The analysis of model was done with the accounting of the distance of true value and estimated parameter. The Analysis methods use Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Standart Error (SE) and bias.The result of research reveals the performance of parameter estimation result for the test item (the test item difficulty, test item slowness, and the effort to complete the item test) is not influenced by the number of the test items. However, the performance of parameter estimation result for the test takers (the speed and ability of the test takers) is influenced by the number of the test items. The more test items there are, the closer is the parameter estimation result to the true parameter.
