This chapter describes the role of career decision‐making self‐efficacy, academic satisfaction, and institutional support in predicting Korean students’ intent to persist in the Academic Credit Bank System.
The purposes of this study were to raise awareness of safety and health among small-scale restaurant workers and to implement accident prevention measures. This study utilized a safety and health awareness survey and analyzed the responses from 255 food and beverage establishments nationwide. The survey results revealed an overall average score of 3 or higher, which indicates that the food and beverage establishments have good safety and health awareness. However, the results also indicated some workplaces did not even follow the basic disaster prevention rules.
In order to protect these workplaces from disasters and to reduce accidents in the food and beverage industry, the conclusion of this study is that continuous and practical safety and health education is essential. To articulate, it is important to design safety and health education that can bring more practical effects, such as preparing safety rules that reflect the actual work of workers and encouraging workers' voluntary safety and health activities.
