The Bi 4.5 Sr 0.5 Ti 4 Fe 0.5-x V x O 15 (BSTFV) solid solutions which consist of the mixture of Bi 5 Ti 3 FeO 15 and SrBi 4 Ti 4 O 15 Aurivillius phases were synthesized and the ferroelectric properties of the solid solutions were characterized in this study. The formation of solid solutions in the composition range of 0-0.05 was recognized on the basis of the variations in the lattice parameters and the small amounts of V substitution also exerted an influence on the ferroelectric properties and grain growth of BSTFV. As a result, the well-saturated P-E hysteresis loop was obtained at x = 0.03 (P r = 16µC/cm 2 and E c = 96 kV/cm).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
