SUMMARYSummary data of geophysical 2D seismic surveys allowed to obtain a more complete picture of the structure, the history of the formation of the Yuryuzan-Sylvenskaya depression and to determine the promising directions of hydrocarbon prospecting. There are outer and inner zones in the structure of the Yuryuzan-Sylvenskaya depression. The outer zone is characterized by a platform structure with relatively shallow structural forms, developed in a shallow shelf and bordered by a strip of reefs which have barriertype structures. The gas field formations (Ust-Ikinsky, Muslyumovsky, Yanibaevsky) located in the outer zone, are associated with small dome-shaped uplifts, local horst-like structures and single shelf bioherms formed in the inner lagoon of the paleoshelf.
