This study aims to examine whether there is an influence of the use of Instagram social media on narcissistic tendencies carried out by students in the Bachelor of Pharmacy study program at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted at the Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan. The research subjects were students of Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan with a sample of 42 people. The sampling technique of this study was purposive sampling. Data collection tool in the form of Instagram social media scale and narcissistic tendency scale. Test the validity of the instrument using the Corrected Item-Total Corelation test. Instrument reliability test was calculated using Alpha Cronbach formula. Data analysis uses a simple regression technique to test hypotheses with a significance value of 5%. The results showed that there was an influence between the use of Instagram social media on narcissistic tendencies in the students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy study program at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University Medan in the amount of 14.9%. The regression line equation is Y = 58,440 + 1,115 X. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Instagram social media for undergraduate students of Pharmacy Program at Mutiara Mutiara University in Medan Medan is in the high category, narcissistic tendency in the students of the S-1 Pharmacy Study Program at Sari Mutiara University Indonesia Medan is in the low category.
Resilience is the ability where employees can survive and rise in coping with stress. Coping is the ability to overcome self-problems from the demands of stressful situations. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and coping for employees of Lotte Grosir Medan. The hypothesis proposed is, there is a positive relationship between resilience and coping with employees. The sample method used is saturated samples, which amounted to 93 people or all employees with work at Lotte Grosir Medan. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of resilience and coping. The results of this study found resilience in employees in the high category by 71%. Coping with employees is categorized as high by 51% and the majority of employees use problem focused coping techniques by 57%. Based on the results obtained there is a positive relationship between resilience and coping for employees of Lotte Grosir Medan with a value of rxy = 0.790, meaning that the higher the resilience or ability of employee resilience, the higher the coping of Medan Lotte Wholesale employees in the face of stress.
Entering retirement, the individual will experience an important change in the development of his life, which is marked by social changes. Changes caused by this retirement period require adjustment. Someone who is facing retirement needs social support in facing retirement. This quantitative study aims to determine the effect of social support on retirement adjustment in Fodo Village, South Gunungsitoli District, Gunungsitoli City with 34 samples taken in this study. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between social support on self-adjustment with a correlation coefficient (R) of 54.3% which means that there is a fairly close relationship between social support and retirement adjustment and the coefficient of determination (R square) indicates that adjustment self-retirement is influenced by social support by 29.5%.
Human resources are an important factor in a company. Discharge of employees from a company will have a considerable impact. Employee turnover has always been a major problem faced by organizations without considering location, size, nature of the business, and business strategy. The high level of employee turnover can be seen from how much desire to move owned by employees in a company. This study aims to determine the effect of Generation X and Y on turnover intention on permanent employees of the General Hospital X in Medan. This study involved 23 employees of Medan X General Hospital with a minimum service period of 1 year. Data obtained through two scales, namely the scale of Generation X and Y and turnover intention scale. The results of the regression analysis showed that Generation X and Y had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention in Medan X General Hospital employees. Generation X and Y are among the predictors of turnover intention. The results of the regression analysis showed that Generation X and Y had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention in Medan X General Hospital employees. Generation X and Y become one of the predictors of turnover intention with a contribution of 12.9%. The implication of this research is expected to the company to pass the evaluation and approach to employees that they (employees) are needed to work in the company, employees need to be given support in working in the company in the form of opportunities to experience increased self-potential development, fulfillment of needs in accordance with work , training to foster or expel and develop creativity at work, equipping superiors with the ability to guide (mentoring), skills for personal relationships and effective ability in problem solving, good decision making, communication and negotiations that do not harm the rights or the individual (employees ).
The anxiety experienced by students who are compiling their thesis makes students feel depressed due to several factors such as choosing an inappropriate title, the difficulty of finding book references, the limitations of meeting with supervisors due to the PPKM policy by the government. This situation can make students lazy and hinder the process of making the thesis of Psychology Study Program Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. finalists who are compiling the Thesis. In this study, the author distributes questionnaires through Google formular with a sample of 50 people. shows the relationship between Social Support Variables on Anxiety in Writing Thesis. The value of R square (R2) is 0.002 which means 0.2% variance of anxiety in writing thesis in PGSD students at the Final Level of Sari Mutiara Indonesia.
