Fingerprint data of parents and children were taken directly from Lombok, Indonesia. This dataset was collected from 30 families consisting of father's, mother's, and child's fingerprints. The data were collected from one family to another, with and without a kinship relationship. It was collected with a U are U 4500 SDK Digital Persona and extracted using the feature extraction method from the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). This dataset of parent and child fingerprint data can be used in research to determine the texture similarities of parent and child fingerprints. Furthermore, it can also be used in DNA processing, pattern similarity, and verification.
In this research, fingerprint pattern matching is done to find out whether there is the similarity between parent and child fingerprint pattern. An important step in fingerprint matching is the fingerprint pattern search and matching. Fingerprint data is used by 11 families from various families. The method used in fingerprint feature extraction is GLCM. The GLCM angle used is 0 o , and the features used are contrast, homogeneity, correlation, and energy. For fingerprint pattern matching use minutiae score. From the results obtained GLCM has been widely used in fingerprint texture analysis. This study proves that the proposed method for matching fingerprints on parents and children gets the most dominant pattern is the loop pattern.
Abstract-This paper shows competence election for the students of the Academy of Information Management and Computer (AIMC) Mataram on computer engineering courses who completed the study in semester 1, 2 and 3 and choose lesson competence. The competence election on computer engineering courses is intended to make students get easier in choosing the appropriate competence and professional expertise of students in an effort to steer students to the ability and the students' academic achievement. It is an uneasy thing for the students. Limited information make the students find it difficult to choose the competence of determining the best based on the academic achievement and interest. To solve the problems, standard decision support system is required to help and provide a solution or an alternative based on the accurate data by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) that is computerized.
