received his B.S. degree from Hamilton College (1999) and his M.S. degree from the Colorado School of Mines (2002) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Miami, where he conducts research at the Comparative Sedimentology Laboratory. His research investigates the earliest diagenesis and geochemistry of modern carbonates, dolomitization, and integration of geochemistry with sequence stratigraphy in ancient carbonates.
