ResumoEste ar go é parte da análise desenvolvida em uma dissertação de mestrado sobre as prá cas do educador social na polí ca pública da Assistência Social. Par ndo do conceito operador prá cas, nos lançamos em uma pesquisa-intervenção, com base nos referenciais da Análise Ins tucional, propondo a criação de espaços cole vos de análise para problema zação e desnaturalização das prá cas do educador social. Dialogando com Michel Foucault, elegemos um conjunto de enunciados que conformam campos de prá cas em que se ar culam educação e proteção/assistência social. Iniciamos o ar go buscando responder a questões históricas da emergência das prá cas socioeduca vas; posteriormente tecemos uma análise, colocando em relação enunciados mapeados nos documentos dos serviços socioeduca vos e analisadores construídos com os educadores sociais. Evidenciaram-se traçados de estratégias de segurança, em seu caráter de regulação, através da educação moral, do aconselhamento, da vigilância prote va. AbstractThis ar cle is part of the analysis developed in a master's thesis on the social educators prac ces in social assistance public policy. Based on Foucault's operator concept prac ces, in the interven on--research it was proposed the crea on of collec ve analysis spaces for the problema za on of social educators prac ces, employing Ins tu onal analysis's methodological references. Ar cula ng with Michel Foucault, we selected a series of statements that make prac cal fi elds in which educa on and protec on/social assistance are ar culated. We began the ar cle seeking to answer historical ques ons of the emergence of social educa onal prac ces; then we developed an analysis, relang statements mapped in the documents of social educa onal services and analyzers chosen by social educators. As research results it was evidenced security strategies features, in its character of regula on of the popula on and of the bodies, that seems to operate a moral educa on strategy through the counseling, as well as produce a protec ve surveillance.
